Hey all,
A whopping £1 paid to Barclaycard today :rotfl: I am going to add up my payments on payday (Thursday) to see where I am with it, hopefully clear of that one within the month...
I did two hours of overtime this morning, which will be about £21 before tax, every little helps! I have my payslip for this month which means that I can sort out my spreadsheets later too
I also got my vouchers through - each month I pay from my salary to get vouchers at a 5-10% discount. I now have £30 Amazon, £30 M&S and £60 Boots vouchers in my purseI also have a giftcard for M&S from returns I made today with about £8 on it, so I'm going to M&S tomorrow to get the Dine in For A Tenner for £2 :j
I should have at least £40 left from my grocery budget for debts at the end of the month and I also have a plan for the food left in my freezer (See my thread for more info)
Not a lot of other news for the DFBC I don't think. Hope everyone is having a nice weekend!0 -
Just caught up with you all..well done folks.. I like being a DFBer!
As it is pay day I have donesome very serious number chrunching and am very pleased to say I am £341.95 less in debt than when I started:j despite our shower exploding and car needing a MOT!
I want to reply to so many of you, but don't have the technical expertise to do it, but if you bear (SP?) with me...

I'm more of a handbag person... Only joking. I don't have any expensive anything to sell. Except for my old text books.. still haven't got around to checking out my other text books. I will do it tomorrow- that's a promise.

Morning all!
Sadly back to work tomorrow - it's a shame...2 weeks off and it's going to be painful in the morning!!! I know I shouldn't complain...I have had 2 weeks holiday! Well, today is going to be spent doing jobs I should have done during the holiday - not as relaxing as I was hoping. If anyone has any ideas on how to get a grown woman to stop procrastinating, they would be very welcome!:oYes, Yes> purpleclutterbuck and others.. use up all of those things on your bathroom shelves.. and in the cupboards and storage boxes as well..
I quite agree with this. I'm quite lucky as I am always spoiled at Christmas...I usually get lots and lots of smellies. I haven't had to buy ANY smellies (apart from from facewash and moisturiser) since Christmas. Hopefully, I should be able to get away with it until July!:T
I'm having real trouble with my old ticker (the thing showing my debt - not my heart, thankfully!). I can't seem to get it to work...hey ho!

Morning everyone
Getting my first dose of DFB today
I've got a few days off this week so am planning a big spring clean before my birthday on Saturday. Hopefully this will result in lots of items to put on Ebay and am also hoping to do a carboot if I can get some other stuff to sell.
Need to get the mystery shopping going again too. Got a few lined up. I find this helps with the budget and extra money from the fees too. I'm just going to go all out for the next 2 years and make as much as I can.
Will be back later for my second dose

Just made payments adding up to £100 to a 'variety' of ccs, but won't update ticker until statements as there will be interest to take into account
Like emily of to sort out for ebay, unlike emily, not on holiday next week so lots to do as well!
Have a good Sunday folks

I had real trouble with my debt ticker too. I discovered that when i did the original one, I hadn't copied the whole link, i'd missed the very last 'url' off the end. It didn't help that i'd forgotten my pin as well - i'm a walking nightmare!!!One step at a time0 -
Woo hoo! I got it to work...although, the figures don't seem particularly good. I think I'm going to have to work a bit harder.
Hopeful1 - I think I did the same as you...I missed the url. Fingers crossed the next time I do it, it doesn't take soooooo long!
I also need to cancel payment protection on 2 of my credit cards - I didn't even realise I had it - I must sign anything! It's costing me a fortune...
Ah well...I really need to go and do some work now...MBNA - [STRIKE]£7068.60 [/STRIKE] £7060.00 Egg - 1422.35 A&L - [STRIKE]£249.32[/STRIKE] £215.00Loan - £13279.50 :rolleyes:0 -

Hi all
Well i made the [STRIKE]mistake [/STRIKE] very good decision to tackle my debts daily, rather than just paying the monthly DD, a bit late in this month so i don't have much money left til payday (30th) but was still looking forward () to paying £2 off my CC but the nationwide site doesnt want to load at the mo. but i will pay it today, one way or another.
i am also transferring the interest from my isa to cover my BT bill and to pay £60 off my mortgage as this has higher interest than my CC at the mo. well its £110 i wouldnt have had and its not exactly earning alot in the ISA. I will NOT spend it on my day off tomorrow.
Hope everyone enjoys the rest of the day.
