Hey Laura,
It could be that I reckon for the minimum payment, but it doesn't explain why the interest was higher - the interest charged last month was about 73 with the min payment about 77 - done nothing but pay off and yet this month it's charging me 77 in interest with min payment of 83ish!
Wierd!
I don't get this stuff. I've applied for a card with 0% balance transfers so hopefully I'll get accepted for that - got a feeling things might go stupidly wrong though as I checked my credit report and it's saying I'm not on the electoral roll! I rang the council today and they've said I am on it, so I'm gonna be mightily piddled off if I get declined for this card. Do you reckon I would be able to ask them to recheck if I got declined on strength of an incorrect credit report?
Just watching Man City v Hamburg at the minute - I can't stand man city so am rooting for hamburg, I'm half german so I'm allowed to do that lol

Hello all
Have failed in my mission to have my first ever NSD spent £1.60 on parmesan to go with dinner this evening
On the upside, previously I would have spent about £20 on whatever whilst I was visiting Mr T....
Cleared out DDs bedroom and found some more stuff to ebay... not that anyone seems to be interested in the other carp I've got on there anyway:rotfl:
Hey Silaqui - can't shed any light on your banks random system but feeling your frustration  hope you at least get the footy result you want!!FeeFee

Hi everyone
OMG, just worked out that to clear my debt in 24 months, I will have to pay an extra £600 a month . I'm just going to really push myself with making extra money over the next 2 years and just think about how much time and spare cash I will have when I reach my 30th birthday a debt free woman!!
I think my first targets are to pay my mum back £500 that I owe her and then that's all the family debt gone. I will then try and save a couple of grand and see where I can get the best F&F. I've got quite a few £1k-£3k debts so will try and get them out of the picture in the first year so I can concentrate on the bigger ones in the second year as this gives them time to shrink!!
Off to work on some figures for making money

Evening everyone,
Your all doing so well - it's giving me lots of inspiration!
Big smilies:D:D to everyone who is feeling a bit .
My few things on ebay have sold and made me £30 which will go straight off the credit card, although DH keeps on about buying some £50 alloys! Although I told him if he's determined to buy them then we will pay for them out of the holiday money I've saved (we go next week) Sounds a bit mean but I'm hoping to guilt trip him out of buying them! He just doesn't get MSE!
The first debt I want to clear is the windows. They are 0% until Nov. I need £3890 to clear it. I've already saved a fari bit and fingers crossed after payday next week I should only need another £450 :j I'm definatley on course to clear it before my maternity leave starts in June.
Anyway, I think I've rambled enough for now! I'm off to bed because the bump is causing me to have cyattica (sp?) The pain in my bum (no not DH) and leg is terrible, I can hardley walk!

Since the grant is a new thing from 6th April, I don't know how long it will normally take. The midwife gave me the application form when I was 29 weeks (mid February) and I sent it off straight away. But I think it only took so long because it's new and they weren't going to pay anyone before April. Should only take a couple of weeks I think.LBM 31/01/2009: £19,422
