Lol tis not a good thing! Just makes me look really greedy having so much debt so young lol!

Oh FF I watched Lost last night, it was great what you on about woman :p I have a bit of an inkling of what might be happening with the time travel - remember a couple of series' ago when we first met young Ben and he saw his dead mum through the fence??? And she said 'It's not time yet' or words to that effect? Well I reckon she was on an alternate timeline. Ben was judged yesterday by the island disguised as Alex because the island knew thats what would make him listen, like Eko saw Yemi if you remember? And Ben is a bit off guard at the min because he can see the same thing happening to him with Locke taking over as what he did when he chucked Charles Widmore off the island. So he;'s gonna be unpredictable, like a caged animal lol. I love it can't wait for next week!

Well done on your win Intergalactic Floozie! They all add up! Me and me mum put 3 quid on the football every home match, so far this season we have won the grand total of £7.50 haha.

Thats a good idea about keeping the cash in a savings account, I have tried to do a similar thing by having a bank account for spending - when it's gone it's gone.

Have a nice day everybody xx

f_f - spents ages with my calculator when I first saw your post as I realised our 30th birthdays must be very close, then realised you had written the date a couple of posts further down...doh.

Definitely want to join please, will be 30 on 28th Nov 2010. Will confirm total after a bit of number crunching!

Thanks, off to have a proper read through the thread now.

Silaqui - your post reminded me why I stopped watching Lost! Waaaaay too much for my little blonde brain to contend with, I have the attention span of a gnat when it comes to TV programs!

I would be happy if my HSBC card, Lloyds loan and overdraft were gone by my birthday, don't think I will manage the Egg card as well althought that would be amazing... :D

I will aim for all four, which is a total of £8667.24 by 28th November 2010. No idea how I will manage it but you've got to be in it to win it I guess! That's if you lovely DFB's will have me :p

I know I can do it by cutting down on my grocery bills. I am terrible for going down for just a couple of things, yet chuck things in my trolley willy nilly usually spending over £10 per visit despite spending at least £70 on my main shop.

Have you wandered over to the Old Style board a lot? It's good for many things - I bought a slow cooker on the strength of that board and ate my first meal from it tonight; very yummy it was too :D *coughfirsttimeIuseditsinceitwasboughtinJanuarycough*

I have signed up to the Grocery Challenge too - set yourself a budget for groceries and confess your sins on there. I have a budget of £200pcm for me, t'other half and two cats and anything I save will go to the debts. I should make it in at £150-£160 this month, although I might stock up on cat litter while we have the use of my friends car as it's a b*gger to get home on the bus!
