Yes, please add me. My goal is then to pay off £25k by January 2014, my 50th birthday. It sounds more daunting put like that, but £620/month sounds almost possible.
Morning all!
I've made payments of £7.52 this morning to Barclaycard and the Pay Off The Loan account, but Barclaycard online is playing silly b*ggers and won't let me in to see how well I'm doing
I'm back to work today after the easter break (Boooooo) so if you're commenting and I'm not getting back to you I'm not being rude, I'm trapped at work0 -

Good morning fellow DFB's!!!
Just wanted to say, this thread/challenge is actually motivating me more than anything and now all my PADs go towards debt instead of savings, will still put anything I make on Ebay etc towards holiday savings but normal daily payments go now into a savings account until there is enough to pay one of OH's loans off (debt with highest APR).
Alright, off to the butchers and F&V market now - and the bank to put all my pennies in so I can put them into savings account.
Have a fab day everyone!
Oh, and thanks f_f for the resources, had a little read on the board about what sells on Ebay - amazing! Has given me a few ideas I shall be trying out soon.LBM 31/01/2009: £19,422

Hello all. Well it's the last day of the month for me as I get paid tomorrow. My available balance out of my £1800 overdraft is £178.44 so that is what I have paid off this month (slightly cheating, but at least I know a figure now don't I?)
I also won £4 on the Irish Grand National yesterday but as the bet cost me £2, I'm effectively £2 up, so I am going to transfer that across.
I got my bank statement on Saturday and next month's interest is blooming £15-odd! I don't want to be paying that every chuffing month so am determined to save hard this month.
I know I can do it by cutting down on my grocery bills. I am terrible for going down for just a couple of things, yet chuck things in my trolley willy nilly usually spending over £10 per visit despite spending at least £70 on my main shop.
I think what I will do is each little bit I can 'save' I will transfer across into a savings account, and then transfer it back on 15th each month, so it's in the savings account if I really need it for emergencies. If it's in my current account I might always have the temptation to spend it.
I've also entered the £100 for a year clothes' challenge but as I have joined in a quarter of the way through the year my available is £70.Start Date: 27/11/2010
Padding: Day 42
Target £8000
Amount: £562.230
