Is there an "official" explanation why Costco has membership rules.

(I could make some suggestions myself but I would be interested in the public relations explanation)
i assumed it was something to do with who is entitled to the VAT reductions that they have.....

They trolley full was at the door of Haydock one on saturday.
I forgot to bring it home though  it was green is that new?

I remember there was £2 off fairy non bio liquid and £3.50 off the powder,
    £2 off salmon fillet.

the pampers nappies were at the front of the store right by the entrance and there was a pic of them on the voucher book but no voucher inside, I checked about 3 times because I thought there MUST be one in there as loads of people had a box or 2 in their trolley, but they were about £4 a box more than in asda so I just chuckled to myself that so many people had fallen for the trick.
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.

That was the last voucher booklet which expired Sunday 11th April. Didn't see any new ones when popped in on Sunday. HTH
No buying unnecessary toiletries/makeup in May: Unnecessary spend £17.60
    May

    2012 INs: 77 UUs/OUTs/GAs: 91
    Savings from UUs: £60.50

  • It is probably a planning condition for Costco to operate a members only policy.
There is also the revenue that the company gets from membership (especially members who do not visit very frequently)

What are the prices at Costco for coffee? I'm thinking of buying it in bulk and hopefully saving loads.

I'm currently employed by a local government so qualify for a card but I will be losing my job in a few months. If I buy a card now before my employment ends will I still be to renew my card next year as a pre-existing member.

    Many thanks

I would recommend the Kirkland coffee that comes in the big bronze tin with a brown plastic lid, its about £8 or something but you get so much. Its all we use in our machine these days.

Yeah but the asda boxes contain less nappies so they work out a lot cheaper in costco:T
