So went to costco and joined up. everyone was friendly and helpful... not sure I will save loads of money but will be able to get things like maple syrup and razor blades at a decent rate.. enjoyed the experience... Compared to visiting Makro's with a friend sometime ago it was much better Makro's was dark and depressing.. but think they may have had more choice but I'm not eligible to join so not an option for me.

It's the sweet thick fluffy American style pancake. you can also use the mix to make waffles which are very popular in this house...

Can you remember what aisle it was down? (i.e. what other stuff was there) just so it makes it easy to find

costco is brill, 2year of membership am now executive member and the cashback will easily pay for next years annual charge

best thing i think they do are:

all electrical equipment has a 5 year guarantee (no quibble)

they do michelin tyres much cheaper than any garage i have been to and will rotate your tyres for free and nitrogen inflation

the meat is excellent quality and much cheaper than any supermarket or butchers

also cleaning stuff is great like washing powder etc is excellent value if you have the storage space

i agree not everything is mega cheap but thats not what they are about they sell high quality goods at a fraction of the price you would get elsewhere
