Is there a current voucher booklet? I've not had anything through the post and was thinking of going this weekend as the freezer drawers can actually be moved in and out without cursing (clearly they're not full enough!)Comper and general cheapskate0

Haven't seen a voucher booklet for a while, although it is not that long since I threw the remainder of the last one in the bin.0

I asked yesterday and was told that afer easter they "often have a break without vouchers until around june but that depends on managers moods. If they want to do it suddenly they do" So no sign yet!0

What are the prices at Costco for coffee? I'm thinking of buying it in bulk and hopefully saving loads.
I'm currently employed by a local government so qualify for a card but I will be losing my job in a few months. If I buy a card now before my employment ends will I still be to renew my card next year as a pre-existing member.
Many thanks
The coffee is very often on offer at Costco with a voucher, and can work out very economical if you are able to stockpile when it's going cheap. I buy my own there, and also buy for work, where we have a weekly subscription to pay for it. (along with the Tbags, sugar, biccies & milk).
I second the rec for Kirkland own brand ground coffee in the big bronze tin, it's lovely and we also use that at work.Official DFW Nerd No 096 - Proud to have dealt with my debt!0 -
I hate it when they don't post out the coupons because unless you live nearby it is a wasted journey.
If anyone goes on Monday could they let me know if kitchen roll is on special offer? Thanks0 -
Costco's houmous is £1.99 for a MASSIVE tub, and it is easily the nicest I have ever bought, anywhere. Yum!
The cooked chickens are, I think £3.99 and are really, really tasty. I have no idea what they baste them in, but it is gorgeous.
Their trays of tinned tomatoes are exellent as well: less than a fiver for 24 tins of very good quality tomatoes (I think the organic ones are a pound more expensive).
Some of the toiletries can be really good value as well, depending on what they have in.Please call me 'Pickle'

Kitchen rolls are not in the coupons starting Monday, it's a blokey coupon book, with money off World Cup must haves, money off Sol beer, Quavers, Bulmers, (cant remember them all, will confirm tomorrow) and gadgets like TVs, stereo etc. There are only 16 coupons.
Costco cooked chickens are said to have brine injected into them to give make them tender and brown better in cooking...
By the way, anyone going to Costco Thurrock today (Sunday 9th May 2010), they are celebrating their 1st Birthday of Executive Membership, there's free birthday cake, refreshments, along with a trade fair instore.
Is that one of the "friend of a friend of a friend" things or first hand info from the company.0 -
