Identical to every other Costco in the world. That's the point of Costco :)

We have been to the Costco in Orlando, Florida a couple of times over the last ten years. It really is home from home!

The only thing is some of the furniture and garden stuff is so fab, but there would be no way of getting it home!

Ooohh, Ive just thought of a fun Costco chat topic-Have you ever seen anyone famous in Costco?

To start us of, a couple of years, I saw a man at the Opticians who I was convinced was Martin Fry from Eighties band ABC (showing my age!) After peering at him, and at his trolley for clues, I eventually had to ask him, and it was indeed the man himself! I asked him to sign the only thing I had-a copy of a Thomas the Tank Engine Annual that I had just picked up for my DS! My dad and Martin Fry got talking about the acoustics in Wembley Arena-bizarre!

And when DS unwrapped book, he asked why someone had already scribbled in it!!

Hi, if anyone is going to Costco in the next couple of days, would you mind checking the price of the croissants for me? I need to buy about 30 plain croissants for next Wed morning and am trying to work out if Costco or one of the supermarkets would be cheaper. TIA.
I've just found an old receipt that says £2.79 for 12, but it was a few months old, I've not bought them for a while.

Weezl79 spotted John Barrowman in Cardiff Costco last year.

Does anyone know about quantities & prices of 2nd Class stamps at Costco pls? Only just thought of them - need about 80 for my wedding invites. Can anyone help? I may get a chance to pop there tomorrow but it seems unlikely.

    Thanks :D

IIRC they are in packs of 6 (or poss 8) books of 12 and usually work out 1 or 2p cheaper than the standard price per stamp.
I bought a pack for my wedding invites (small wedding) and used them for the thank you cards I had loads left

Thanks - a small saving is better than none! So they're in packs of 72 (or 96)? That's fine - I can use them for the extra day invites too. Many thanks for your quick replies :D

They come in packs of 60 stamps (both 1st & 2nd) except the LARGE letter 1st which are in 40s.

    Last time I checked 2nd 77300480_second-class_02.jpgwere £17.59 (29.3p each)
NOT much of a saving on the 30p they should be. (32p on 6/4/10)

You would only save 84p on buying 2 packs (120 stamps) from Costco than going to your local Post Office :)

    1st class 77300481_first-class_02.jpg saves a bit more - £21.99 (36.6p each) - these should be 39p (41p on 6/4/10)

    1st class LARGE LETTER 86700526_1st_class_large.gif were £22.89 (57.2p each) - should be 61p (66p - 6/4/10)

EDIT - Updated with PRICE FROM 6th April 2010

    Costco don't do 86700527_2nd_class_large.gif but are 47p - (51p - 6/4/10)
