  • Have been a member of Costco and Makro for approx 12 years. NEVER had a problem with Costco, however, Makro are regularly out of stock of the items I want to buy(For a B&B).
Tyres are particulary good value. I bought them when they had the 4 for the price of 3 offer but only needed two fitting. I stored the other two and had them fitted at a different branch about 1 year later without any trouble. Brilliant service.
A friend of mine also bought a camera in the US whilst on holiday. The camera was a model which was not available in the UK. About 9 months later it developed a fault so he enquired at his local Costco (in Scotland) about getting it repaired. They gave him a full refund without question. There are a large number of companies in the UK who could learn a lot from Costco's standard of customer service.

    Brakfast idea?
