Xeomin is not Botox but a brand of Botulinum Toxin A. You know that too Paul. Wigmore are expensive. I reserve it for clients who very occasionally develop resistance to the other brands as some research suggests it doesn't last as long. Dysport is my favourite though.
Yes. Know that. We've had very good results with Xeomin. And of course, its easy to store once opened.0 -
Hi all, I'm a man of 29 and still look very youthful according to friends and family. Unfortunately I'm not happy with the lines on my forehead and I also have a weird little line above my left eyebrow, which I think is due to the way I sleep. I live in the Birmingham area can anyone recommend someone for me please? I think I need a consultation though as I say my lines might not be worth treating yet0

Hi Mack,
Please don't get botox. I think 29 is very young to start getting it done. Please remember we can be our own harshest critics so little imperfections that we may see in ourselves are likely to be things other people would never pick up on (as you say, your friends say you look youthful). You may be even adding to 'little line' by worrying about it. Also, it may be that you just need to adjust the way that you sleep as I get small creases on the side of mouth if I sleep on my side, so I try to sleep on my back. Also as a gentleman, you're allowed more lines than women, it adds character and makes you look 'distinguished'.
Btw, I'm not against anyone getting botox or whatever makes them feel or look better. I just think there should be a min. age requirement before people think about getting invasive cosmetic treatment.0 -

Im thinking of going to sk:n clinic for juverderm ultra for the smokers (Ive packed up 4 years ago!) lines on my upper lip - I whistle a lot too, so that may not have helped
Has anyone used their local sk:n clinic - I may also go for botox on the lines above my nose as they make me look irritable when Im not
I went to an open day last week and if I book by next Friday I get 20% off the costs. I can have a registered nurse (who I had a consultation with) or a dentist do the juverderm and botox - the dentist is more expensive, is it best to go for that or would the nurse have as much experience? (Oh, if I recommend a friend I apparently get £50 off the treatment too and friend gets £25 off - which would be handy).0 -

Having read all the details of people on here, I decided to give it a got.
3 areas cost me £275, and it was done in my own home after completing an online medical form and undertaking a short telephone interview.
The company (cheshirebotox dot com) are great and the Aesthetics Practitioner was really friendly and helpful
and best of all, I now have a wrinkle free face.
Cheers

Just noticed this thread still running. And to say, I did have juvederm ultra filler in 4 areas and I am very pleased with the results. It was expensive - you have to see a doctor the first time at Skin clinics and even with discount it came to £800 but after 3 months its still as good as when it was done. You have to return after 2 weeks for any minor adjustments, free of charge of course.
The results are instant, though Id advise not having a hol or big event for a couple of weeks as you do get little bruises along your upper lip. But the upper lip is fab, no longer Dot Cotton lines there, I also had the two frown lines over my nose done and the nose to mouth lines and the lines going down from the side of my lips. TBH though I love not having the lines above my nose, Id not have those next time, as my fringe covers them most of the time and it would save a fair bit of money. Juvederm Ultra is supposed to last conservatively 6 to 9 months by the way.
Why I chose the filler nstead of Botox was that it is more natural plant ingredients and Id got nervous when I read about botox needing more and more as your muscles become more lax.
Well, I am very pleased with the results, its not a frozen look, but very subtle, people just say to me how well I lookwhich is really nice.
