I applied for the paper version of the isa on tuesday because i didnt have my activation code, but i got the activation code on saturday.
I still havent received my paperwork, so do you think i should just apply online and hope for instant opening?
I still need to fill out a transfer form

I like the look of this e-ISA for my 09/10 allowance.
Can I open one from 6 April with an opening balance of £3600 then transfer in an existing Fixed ISA maturing in June. This would take me over £10,000 to receive the 3.45% rate assuming they have not reduced the rates by then.0 -
Well my natwest e-isa account has now shown up in my account, but the money i deposited at the time of opening the account is not there

Has anyone had the experience of transfering an ISA from A&L to NatWest?
The NatWest Transfer form only allows an 8 digit account number, but the A&L account number has 11 digits! There doesn't seem to be anyway around this as you complete the form electronically and then print it out.
Thanks.0 -
You could try printing it out with only the first 8 digits of the A&L number - then adding the remaining 3 digits by hand before posting the form.HAPPYHAMMER wrote: »The NatWest Transfer form only allows an 8 digit account number, but the A&L account number has 11 digits! Yes, that is the route I have taken, although the form clearly states 'Do not write or mark outside of the boxes provided', so who knows what will happen.
I was hoping someone would have already had the same issue and been sucessful with the transfer so I could do the same thing. Don't want the '30 day' black-hole becoming a '90-day' black hole.0 -

Oh good. I'm just worried as i deposited my 08/09 allowance, so if that doesn't go through i have lost out on that potential interest.0 -
I'm interested in the Natwest e-Isa as well. Does anyone know how you can move money in and out of the account once it is opened? Can you do bank transfers to/from other (non-Natwest) accounts or must it be via the Natwest non-ISA account that you have to open?
I couldn't find this information on their web site.0
