All on-net calls will be free.
Sorry to be thick.
But what exactly does "on-net" mean?0 -
Sorry....
on-net is calls to the same network....as opposed to x-net (cross network)
The idea is to get everyone you know on talktalk.....if you only ever call people who are on talktalk, then you will never be charged !!
We expect this to be bigger than HUGE.....what do you reckon ?This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Sounds pretty good to me.
I am already with talktalk, but it would certainly motivate me to persuade family members to change over.
The only ones who might not find it worthwhile are those who get free calls as part of a cable package.0 -
Obviously i'm on talktalk too......
Have signed up all my friends and family too....i use my mobile to call mobiles....should just get free calls now and no bill to pay....
If only a BT line rental was cheaper ! If you compare it to the mobile market, where a pay as you go has no rental, and the cost of supporting this line on the infrastructure is 10x more expensive than a BT line, i think BT are getting away with daylight robbery!!.....its like charging you rental for the electricity line to your house or simillar.....This is a system account and does not represent a real person. BT had just announced it is changing its line rental and call charges (surprise, surprise). Haven't read the details yet.

* Edit - just had a quick look and the line rental is going up so the call charges can go down and look more competitive.
New BT Together Option 1 charges
Line rental £10.50 per month
Evenings and weekends 5.5p for up to an hour per call, 1p per minute thereafter
Daytime 3p per minute, 5p minimum call charges apply

Has Anyone tried Toucantele?
My daughter is now on this service. All local and national calls for £12.99 per month...except for 0870 numbers and any other premium rates.
I am not sure of mobile to mobile, although I believe their rates are competitive.
Re overseas calls. I use Telediscount for Australia and Europe, but to ring St. Lucia, I use Telestunt...5p per min. Telediscount is 10P...so a big difference.Mark Hughes' blue and white army0 -
Does anyone know if you can use an ISP dial-up number (0845) with the talk talk - talk70unlimited option?
If that were the case would this not make it £12.99 plus BT line rental for 24/7 internet access and all phone calls.0 -
Hi Guys,
Can anyone out there help me?
I have been with NTL HOME for quite a few years now and I am paying 13.99 for my telephone and analouge TV Package. I also pay 10.00 a month for NTL Dial-up internet service.... making a total of 23.99.
I would love to go Broadband and am totally confused about what is the best way forward and not get stuck with a long contract.
Any advice or help out there?
Thanx.Use your judgement, and above all, be honest with yourself.I walk with the world & the world walks with me!I don't make bad choices!!! Other people just fail to see my GENIUS !!!!0 -
