Well I dial some 0844 numbers for international destinations.
    Originally charged 3p / 4p / 5p on BT.
    How much Primus will charge?

Sadly not all destinations are available through 18185.

Safest is to use 18185 to call 0870 numbers peak and BT (1280) off peak and BT (1280) to call 0844/0845/0871 numbers at all times (there are firms offering fractions of a penny reductions but, IMHO, that's more hassle than it's worth).
Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.

Thanks but question still unanswered, do Primus charge extra for dialing 0844 / 0871?
(I mean more than it is announced by the provider on call)

Can anyone already on Primus confirm the call charges?

When asked before, they replied that they charge BT's non-discounted rates (hence my 1280 advice above).

I think I am missing something,
The thread you pointed is talking about charges for calling 0845 / 0870 (Lo-Call / Nat Rate)
Same is case with the FAQ on primus.

While I am only interested in charges to 0844 / 0871 numbers.
Which as you said can be cheaper by number you provided
but If a number is 3p / min on BT how much Primus will charge?

    From FAQ:
Can I make Premium Rate calls?
Calls to premium rate numbers are not available through Primus Freetalk. To make a call you will need to dial 1280 before the number you wish to call.

    Are they pointing to 0844 / 0871 ??????

Sounds like it'll be best to ask them direct:

The problem, of course, is that there are numerous different 0844 and 0871 rates - the fifth and subsequent digits dictate the cost (see HERE).

It may be you'd have to ask them about every number you wanted to use. Simply pressing a 4-digit prefix would save all that messing about.
