    hi,

I was first a visitor to this site over a year ago when i got a ticket for parking whilst using my nan's blue badge (i was not aware that the car park did not use the blue badge scheme). I took everyones advice from this site and ignored the ticket and i never recieved any letters (success!).

Unfortunately i got a ticket this year for being 20minutes late to my car, i decided to take the same approach and ignore it, however this firm seems a lot more persistant, as i have recieved a few letters now demanding money and it increases each time. I have now heard from their solicitors 'Graham White' who have sent me a NOTCICE OF INTENDED LITIGATION for proceedings are issued to the county court.

From what i have just read this seems to be a well known law firm on this site, who are a bit of a scam. However i can't help feel a little fearful that i could be taken to court or have a 'bailiff sent to my house to recover the costs. They acually did state in a letter i received prior to this site to ignore these type of sites as they contain inaccurate information, however as i have listened to advice from this site before i thought i would take the same appraoch.

Could do with some reassurance really as to taking the correct approach to just ignore.

    Thanks

Just keep ignoring these clowns. As for that threat of "intended litigation", let me tell you a little story; over on the Consumer Action Group forum a motorist reported receiving a letter from anther debt collection company (Court Proceedings Limited) with the words "Your non payment will now result in the immediate commencement of county court action". That was last September. Now, nine months down the line, the same person reported today that nothing came of that "threat" and the company seems to have lost interest in him.
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?

Look up a few posts and I answered someone with the simple link to the whole forum. All you needed to do was consult the top sticky thread and your letter is there in all its multicolour glory, the picture confirms that others have ignored it in the past without problems:

We already have a top sticky thread showing all the letters people have ignored successfully, that always helps people joining this forum for the first time:

The top thread on this very forum shows pictures of all the letters so there's no need to panic & come here posting some of the jargon.

Not only that, IIRC the top sticky also has a 'Roxburghe' heading, showing how Roxburghe pass themselves off as Graham White in their template letters (a link to pepipoo forums with info about the office templates used by Roxburghe). Because your letter is in fact from Roxburghe, using solicitors' letter-heading.

    1. Add some punctuation to your post (sorry but it's almost unintelligible without full stops/capital letters!):p

    2. Next time they call tell them 'any debt is DENIED and your continued contact is harassment. Stop contacting me immediately and pass the file back to the original company or I will report your continued, unwanted and unwarranted letters/calls to my Solicitor and take action against you for the criminal offence of harassment.'

It will work, if they ring after that you can take them to Court if you are so minded. Oh and Graham White are the same people as Roxburghe.

For the benefit of new posters you should be aware that Roxburghe's debt collectors are currently subject of action by the Office of Fair Trading and have been served with a notice informing them that the OFT is "minded to revoke" their licence. It has yet to be resolved one way or the other. Adding further complaints can only aid the situation from the point of view of the harassed alleged debtor.
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

i have had a fine several months ago. I ignored it thanks to all the advice on the site. Howeevr they called the pther day, i stupidly answered, and after getting annoyed gave them some verbals, i told them that i didnt believe they had ever been t court and were just bullies etc etc.... and then hung up annoyed. a couple of hours later recieved a voicemail whilst i was in work with a man on the other end swearing (all this from a witheld number BTW), and saying why wouldnt i answer, seen i was 'giving it the biggen earlier'!. couldnt be sure it was roxburgh but......

Any one else had this problem??.

Another point if i had ignored roxburgh (which i did) then graham white (which i did), then surely i wouldnt recieve another final demand letter from roxburgh as it had been passed on to the soliciitor??? i know these lot are bullying cowboys however im a worrier :(

    thanks in advance.

Roxburghe phone and write as themselves and Graham White. They just rent the name of a solicitor to try and intimidate.

You are free to say what you like on the phone, however dont compromise yourself, or make threats. A straight foxtrot Oscar is acceptable.

You got it right by the way they are bullies and tellers of untruths. Simply ignore them if they phone again don't answer!
