You give the DVLA permission to reveal this information through the V5.
Have a close look at your own or review the sample on the web.

If APCOA's signage is up to its usual standards then they will have shot themselves in the foot from the outset. They have been apt to make it clear on their signs elsewhere that charges are intended as penalties - which gives them zero wriggle room. just take some photos of the signs next time you're in. As already advised do not waste your time in making contact with them in any shape or form. Only in the extremely slim eventuality of you receiving a county court claim form should you come back here for more detailed guidance.
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

I have had my 2nd letter from Roxburghe. In this one they make reference to be careful about all the information presented on forums on the internet- maybe this one?

    Another scare tactic?

    Yes just a useless ploy

Let's face it if it was a real debt, do you think a real debt collector would say to ignore forums ? Of course not, they would just ask you to pay and how to pay etc, the point is forums like this are killing their scam, everyday more and more people ignore and learn the truth.
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
If you answer ie appeal they will ignore it anyway and they'll crank up the frequency of their letters and threats
  • I've just received a Parking Enforcement Notice from APCOA at Luton Airport ''For the alleged contravention of 02-Entry into a bus lane''. I was Just carrying out a rapid ''collect'' operation from the roundabout in front of the arrivals building. Didn't see the need to go through their 'set-down' area and pay £1 for the priviledge! Based on all the advice here I intend to ignore the "Parking Enforcement Notice" for now but I will upload a copy of the notice to the list of PPC's listed here on the forum as I do not see APCOA listed.

Watch this advice from watchdog because they mentioned Luton Airport

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0108tsj/Watchdog_07_04_2011/

Then read this excellent article by them

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/watchdog/consumer_advice/parking_ticket_advice.shtml

Then come back here with your decision on what you should do ;)

Correct ...except for the 'for now' bit. The correct solution is " Based on all the advice here I intend to ignore the "Parking Enforcement Notice" for EVER AND EVER AND EVER AND EVER... until they stop after about 4 letters.
