Graham White Soliciters Over Apcoa Parking Fines

I had a parking ticket at the hospital where I work. Totally deserved the ticket. I parked in a visitors bay (I am staff) and did not pay. As I deserved the ticket, I paid the £12 fine online.
A few months later, I got a letter from Roxeburghe Debt Collectors stating that I owed £70+ for non payment of the parking fine. I wrote back, with a copy of the email that I had from Vinci Parking showing that I did indeed pay the fine. They chose to ignore this letter and sent me another letter saying that they would refer this matter onto Graham White solicitors.
I then had a threatening letter from Graham White solicitors and I again sent them a copy of my email showing that I did indeed pay the fine, but the threatening letters keep coming. I have given up trying to prove that I have paid the fine and really hope they take me to court.
Unfortunately the purest form of scum won't.
You're doing well standing up to the bully's. Imagine how some people just capitulate?
How do those scum sleep at night?
They make me sick and all the more determined to place my "tickets" on cars in car parks to get the word out about the scamming scum.
I do it regularly and hope one day to see some one on here say they ignored them because a "ticket" with the info needed was left on their car.0 -
YIPEE!!!:T
I got a call last friday from BBC WATCHDOG team who are compiling a case against these rogues. I contacted them after I had no joy from the FGW customer complaints team.
I have just sent them details of my case and copies of all correspondence from APCOA / ROXBURGH / GRAHAM WHITE............
fingers crossed they get something sorted!!!!0 -

Well done - this needs exposing again.
PPCs' use of debt collectors often seems to involve misleading info and sometimes unlawful threats. It's time they were stopped TBH.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Guess it is easy to say that if you have been through it before etc.
Never had anything like this happen re debt collection etc so is something new for me.0 -
I too have had the misfortune to get letters from firstly Parking Eye and now Graham White Solicitors, receiving the "Final Warning" letter in Jan 2011. I have done everything you say on this site; ie do nothing, having looked this firm up before doing anything.
Today however, I find a message on my answerphone to contact a young lady from Graham White Solicitors, quoting the reference number and providing a telephone number.
I am unsure how to deal with this.
How on earth did they get my number, especially as I am x-directory?0 -
Call her and tell her to GFH...or words to that effect.
Then tell her ..debt is expressly denied...blah, blah, harassment, blah, blah......oh i can' tbe bothered
or alternatively ignore completely [it's easier and works just as well].Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why then you're as thick and stupid as the moderators on here - MSE ForumTeam0 -

It's Roxburghe pretending to be Graham White solicitors.0
