Nope. Never have they been to Court over a PPC fake ticket.

There is just one case on pepipoo forums where they did serve Court papers a few months ago (the only known instance!) but then they backed down and never continued with it. They couldn't get it right and had made so many errors with their claim they would never have won a defended case. Maybe they were hoping to get an undefended victim and to win by default, but tough luck the person went on pepipoo, submitted a defence and hey presto, case went cold.

As esmerobbo has said already, Roxburghe and Graham White are the same company, same desk, just different letter-heading (a solicitor firm sometimes lends its name to debt collection or even 'acts as a debt collector' with standard letters themselves. It doesn't mean the case has been stepped up a gear at all). Here's proof of how they pass themselvs off as 'GW' on the phone and in letters:

Anyone who gets these letters, worry not, they are the most common PPC letter-chain and WILL NOT go to Court. In fact Roxburghe are under threat of losing their licence since the OfT has got fed up with complaints about their bullying, misleading tactics.

I am new to this forum but a big PCN fighter with tens of succesfull appeals against TFL and London councils.

I have Graham White Solciotrs on my back [for my father in laws PCN] with their letters of intended litigation for... non disclosure...

My questions are as follows:-

1. How many people did they take to court for PCN's and did they back out?
2. If Roxborough UK license is about to be revoked, why are these solciotrs still regulated by the SRA?

Your father-in-law did not get a PCN, not a real one like you are used to.

Roxburghe aka Graham White have never taken anyone to Court. As I said above:

The SRA have a file on Graham White already, although TBH solicitors ARE allowed to work as debt collectors if they have the right licence, and/or can lend their name to 'legal letters' (as is the case here, there is no active Solicitor). Try complaining about them to the SRA and you will get a standard reply saying 'thanks, we will add it to our file'. This has been the case for 2 or 3 years at least...

It just seems that, in this instance, the OfT are acting on the complaints against Roxburghe and their alter-ago, HFO, quicker than the SRA can be bothered to act against Graham White.

PPC bogus PCNs are a huge scam, already outed on Watchdog. Have you read the sticky threads (info threads at the top) and seen the Watchdog clip and the templates of all known PPC standard letter-chains?

If you have been corresponding with these scumbags you have probably been replying to a computer at Roxburghe when you think you've been writing to a Solicitor. Nothing will happen to your father in law, stop wasting time & effort over this as it's not a PCN in the real sense and will come to nothing. Just let the standard threatograms run their course and if you get any phone calls tell them to do one.

SRA is a old boys club they never do anything unless a member has a criminal conviction when they have too.they must have a filling cabinet full of complaints on Sobell alone and choose not to act..

List? What list? Did you think this was the only thread about private parking companies (PPCs as we call them)? Read the whole forum including 'Welcome, please read before posting' with the Watchdog paper aeroplane link. Almost all of the threads are about PPCs, new threads every single day, it's such a common scam:

Your 'solicitor' letters are well-known - shown in the top info sticky thread 'PPC letters, what to expect' - and they actually come from Roxburghe, just using different letter-heading. See the pics of the letters and you'll know when you are at the end of the scam, also there's advice on that top thread about how to have fun if you get dodgy phone calls from these scumbags.

Take comforrt in the fact that they are about to lose their CCA licence if the OfT take the steps they have threatened Roxburghe with. And of course the main comfort is KNOWING this is a scam and that nothing happens when you ignore it all, it's just like deleting phishing emails.

Does anyone think it might be a good idea to start a list of the contact numbers that these use?

It could be a black list of numbers to avoid or even turn it back on them and sign them up for a load of double glazing calls etc to waste their time for a change.
