I am really only going to replicate what many others have already posted, but if feedback numbers count for them, here goes.

Quoted price for 3 phones on Sun 21 Feb
Posted 3 phones Special D on Mon 22 Feb
E-mail from fonebanker confirming receipt of phones Tue 23 Feb
Cheque for the full amount arrived in the post Wed 24 Feb

Can't really ask for much better service than that.

Thank you to fonebanker and all the MSE posters who have commented and gave me the courage to trust them.

Agree with the positive reviews. Sent two mobiles off via FREEPOST. Received email a couple of days later to say they'd received them. Received cheques a couple of days after that.

Sent a battered Sony phone with a battery which didn't hold its charge. Phone works OK with a different battery. Got "working price" for it.

Will definitely use again. The prices they offered for my phones matched those on ebay (for example) without the hassle of P&P, worrying about describing superficial scratches, fees, etc.

Sent my Phone On the Thursday Got A cheque back on the saturday.
    Excellent service.
  • Just recycled 8 mobile phone, 7 not working and 1 working, got my money within 10 days but they did take a few days to confirm they had received the phones, I sent them via the freepost address.
  • Great communication throughout the process, fast, efficient and I got my cheque for the full value amount the same week. Did not offer the best price, but did get the best reviews. Would definitely use them again and recommend.

I have just recycled my old phone with Fonebank as they were offering the best price. I sent it off on Friday pm, got email confirmation at 9am Monday that they had received the phone and received the cheque for the full amount on the Tuesday (today).

I have recycled old mobiles in the past with several different companies but Fonebank offer the best and quickest service by far.

    Highly recommended.

might consider this route for my two nokia n95 8gb

i've got all original packaging, box, manual, handsfree etc. do they want it all, or just the phone and battery?

also how much did it cost you two send phones special delivery, if it's boxed or unboxed etc.?

They just want the phone and battery, nothing else.

I sent my phone by Special Delivery which cost just over £5 but i factored that into the amount I would be getting for the phone, and for peace of mind as my phone was worth more than the £39 recorded delivery insurance limit and special delivery gives £500 loss cover.
    :)
  • After a good service first time on broken and working phones, I sent another phone of to fonebank via the freepost address and my cheque for £32.50 arrived a week later. Thanks Fonebank - would recommend!

If it wasn't for the reviews on this site I would have sent my phones off to someone else who paid a pound more but looking at the reviews they had bad customer service - so thank you Money Saving Forums!

nice reviews, me and wife just got iphones so will be sending nokia n95 8gb to them after reading some good stuff. although will send it special recorded for peace of mind.

just to clarify, do they want just the phone and battery, and nothing else?

i have immaculate box, charger, cd, manuals, headset, tv plug in wire, computer usb etc. this must worth something?
