Hi I have used Mopay once to recycle an old phone and the service was excellent - fast, efficient and excellent value. Will definitely use again.0

I have used Mopay - I sent my phone 2 weeks ago as instructed and they have said they apparently haven't received it.
Who do we blame? Mopay or Royal Mail?
This will cover you up to 100 times 1st class rate (currently 41p x100=£41).
RECORDED DELIVERY is the same: this service only obtains a signature upon delivery.
SPECIAL DELIVERY for over £410 -
MoPay:
Pretty good service EXCEPT I opted for M&S vouchers and was short changed (total £9 received £6).
I rang and was told they had experienced "problems" when sending M&S vouchers.
Now awaiting the deficit .........>>>
ONE DAY LATER: £5 voucher received (£3 owed and given £2 for my trouble)!0 -
Hi there,
Just wanted to leave my feedback for Mopay. I sent my mobile (Nokia N73) off to them recorded delivery last Thursday (3rd June) and received my cheque today (11th June) for the full amount that was stated on their website when I made my enquiry. I got £62: £58.20 was from Mopay and another £3.80 for doing it through Quidco. So to answer the original questions:
Was it fast and efficient? YES!
Did you get your cash promptly? YES!
Did you have any problems? NO!
Did it pay what it said it would? YES!
I know that other people have experienced problems with them for various reasonsso I hope that everyone who did has now had them resolved. However, I have to say I had a good experience with them and would recommend them.

Anyone here know if MoPay would want the memory card with the phone when I send it to them?
Also, How fussy are they about scratches? Mine has a few small scratches on the screen and body. I hadn't noticed them until looking closely at the condition of the phone now that I'm selling it.

Hi there
I have used Mopay twice to recyle phones and on both occasions opted for the vouchers - you get more that way!
My last phones I sent they said were not in working order - ??? - after e mailing them and receiving very prompt replies we have sorted out the problem and on Saturday I received the balance of the vouchers due.
Make sure before you send any phones you restore the factory settings - including reset all pin codes!!
I would use them again. I now have £84 worth of vouchers to go towards my Christmas 2009 shopping !! Yipee:T
Can anyone help on how to reset to factory settings if I don't have the PINS?! I've deleted the messages and phone book.
Four abandoned family phones to recycle....
Also what happens if the phones work but are not in great condition. Do they send you less money?

Not impressed at all. Offer the best price then send a poorly padded envelope, and two or three weeks later they send us an e-mail saying that our phone has been revalued from £25 to £0 (zero) because the screen is cracked. It was in pristine order before we sent it to them because it was an upgrade my wife never used as she didn't like it. So if you send your phone in and it is damaged in transit then you will get nothing. We don't even know if it is really damaged so are asking for it to be sent back. I would avoid mopay and go for one of the other TV advertised companies, they offer a bit less but aren't as shonky as mopay appear to be in my opinion. I'll continue to bad mouth them all over the internet boards until they have sent our "damaged" phone back. Perhaps if they sent an envelope fit for purpose it wouldn't have been damaged in the first place. DO NOT USE MOPAY!!0

I sent my phone off last friday by special delivery. Received my vouchers by post yesterday.
For some reason they've rounded down my £74 payout to £70 in vouchers. I've emailed them about that, but had no response yet.
The evelope they send is just a thin plastic mail bag, I put my phone in a padded jiffy bag and put this inside their envelope.
I've just ordered another envelope to send another phone.0 -
- Was it fast and efficient?
Yes.- Did you get your cash promptly?
I sent the phone on 3rd July, and received a cheque on 15th July.- Did you have any problems?
None.- Did it pay what it said it would?
Slightly more in fact. I was expecting £54.50 and received a cheque for £ 58.00, which included a 'voucher bonus' of £ 3.50.
I sent them a pretty worn phone (though in 100% working order), and I was pleased that the transaction was completed with no quibble. So overall, I am totally satisfied.

Just a quick update.
Received my second envelope on Monday, the cheque arrived in the post on Thursday.
Both phones i've sent have been posted special delivery, which cost me £5.50 a go.
Still waiting for the missing £4 from the first phone I sent, but they have told me it is being isent.
Assuming I get my £4 I would use them again.
Thanks
