They paid me the full £160 by BACS exactly when they said they would.
Thanks guys.

I am having some issues with this company at the moment as I have sent 3 mobiles which have apparently not arrived as yet, I sent them about 2 weeks ago in the freepost envelope supplied. They have told me they will investigate so at the moment I am giving them the benefit of any doubt and will update this forum with the result of their investigations. Hopefully they will find my phones and I will get paid but as I say I will update.
In case you read this Mr Mopay so you know who I am its 3 old Nokias value £65, transaction number 3195869.0 -

This is no longer true, if it was at the time - all the pages throughout the process are HTTPS, including the BACS form.0 -
Re my post two up, they have told me that my phones have turned up and been tested but payment has yet to be received, I will update further when I have news.0

Just a final update re Mopay, as I mentioned above my phones eventually turned up and after that the payment went through very quickly. My only advice would be to send anything either recorded delivery or at leat get proof of postage in case of problems. Another positive they were the top payers for my phones.0

After seeing they were offering the best price on the comparrison tool, I sent them a phone in on Jan the 15th and heard nothing back for one month. I tried visiting the website for an update but all I read was that the phone was "tested", finally I had to email THEM for information, and was told the phone was beyond economical repair and therefore worthless and they wouldn't send it back. I then had to ask for it back as I had always used envirophone before that, because even when I sent them a phone worth a tenner, after it was tested and come out beyond econimical repair, they still offered me a couple of quid for it.
I am yet to see if Mopay will send me back my phone. It's not the money aspect that bothers me, but the fact that I had to actively enquire for an update. Grr."The thing about quotes on the internet is that you cannot confirm their validity." ~ Abraham Lincoln0 -
- Was it fast and efficient? - Yes - I posted it on the Saturday, got my voucher on the Wednesday
- Did you get your cash promptly? see above
- Did you have any problems? none whatsoever
- Did it pay what it said it would? it certainly did

if you opt for vouchers, it always says "up to £xx", for example the G1 it says "up to £90 vouchers". I am worried that for cash it gives a definite amount but for vouchers it always says "up to". How do I know how much I will get if I ask for vouchers?0

I am editing this due to having an private message from Mopay, I would say giving them their dues thank you for getting back to me, but I would still say that an emial to say they got the phone and one to say the cheque is in the post would be so much reasuring to the person that has sent the mobile, I would say this is what moneyformymoblie gave and I would like to say thank you Mopay for getting in contact!
There is no postal strike at the moment and I sent the moblie recorded last week, I emailed no reply, good customer service I really dont think I will not recemmend and would not use again I strongely recommend none uses this company money4mymoblie.com is the best they email you at every stage of the process they email you to say they got the phone they email you once it they get it and when they send the money I really can not say better than money4mymoblie!!!IMPORTANT NOTICE to anyone that has recycled a phone with mopay.co.uk
You may be aware that recently there has been a Royal Mail postal strike which is ongoing. As a result, you may not receive a freepost envelope as quickly as outlined on our website. Usually our bags will arrive within 2 days from you placing your order, however this may take longer than expected as the strike goes on.
If you have received your freepost bag and have sent your phones to us, please accept our apologies as we are experiencing delays for handsets reaching our warehouse which subsequently may affect payment timescales. Unfortunately the speed of which your handsets reach us is out of our control as a result of the strike but we will do our utmost to ensure we issue payment as closely to the timeframes outlined on the mopay.co.uk website upon receipt of your handsets. If you created an account during your order, please go online and log in to your account to track your order. Alternatively, you will receive automatic email updates to let you know the status of your order when we receive the phones and process them
Once again we would like to apologise for any delays and inconvenience the postal strike may have caused.
Kind regards

I can't say I've ever had a problem. I've used the service for my old phone and recently for my old iPod and was actually really impressed with them both times. They always seem to offer the most cash too.0
