Does anyone know were these phones go???
My teacher told me some companies send them of too China, were children are made to lick them to see if they contain certain acids and separate them.

google "e-waste" or look on youtube ... you're not far off the mark, though it depends - if they're paying decent money for it, its because they're making more so they can't be breaking them up, sending them to the far east to be seperated into elements with a stick over a fire is a last resort reserved more for councils who cba to recycle properly and just do the bare minimum to meet government targets (well, and these companies with the phones they paid less than a fiver for i guess)0

Sent them a broken G600i.
They emailed and said it was a lower model (which it wasn't) and revised their offer.
Couldn't be bothered arguing for a £2 so accepted their revised offer.
Cheque arrived 3 days later.0 -
I've got a broken Nokia E71 to send off, they're offering the best price for a broken one, it sounds like I should be 'safe' to use them as they'll know it's a carppy phone (water damage) before they get it. Has anyone sent them a knowingly non-working phone and had a good experience with them?
According to the checker on here they are offering the best price for it, so I'd like to try them out, but having skim read this page, it sounds like they're cowboys....0 -
nah, mixed reviews but people always report the bad rarely report the good
i'd say ur pretty safe bet if its already broken0 -
Service pretty dire and payments slow.
Sent on 2 N95's end of January, e-mail saying the LCD on both were damaged.
Totally livid over this as there was nothing wrong with the phones as we had been using them up until they were sent .
Miraculously after a reasond debate and lots of excuses, the phones were OK.
Would not recommend! BEWARE!0 -
I've sent my old (working) Samsung Omnia a week ago, recieved e-mail next day confirming they've got it and will examine, four days later - e-mail saying phone's OK and the cheque with quoted price is on the way, and a two day later cheque arrived, so all in total took 7 days including the weekend! Very pleased with service.:)0

I sent off my broken phone and had a cheque within 2 days - very happy with the service.0

I had a few phones to recycle. I have had confirmation that a cheque is on the way, or in the case of simply drop a paypal payment, from everyone except money4mymobile. I sent them 2 phones so I'm not happyalthough it has only been a week but they aren't saying they recieved them yet.0

Fantastic! Two phones, one not working and got nearly £90. Had cheque within 5 days of them receiving the phones.0
