They suggested I register again via moneysupermarket.com (!?)

ok so this is a code supplied to affiliate sites only and as such can be entered when you click through from said affiliate site only - it will work from an mse link, the mobilevaluer link or moneysupermarket as suggested and probably others - however presumably the point of this is that whoever you click through from gets a cut, so seeing as how we're discussing it here it would seem only fair to ignore the advice and use the mse www.mobilevaluer.com to click through from

btw i have nothing to do with mse and get nothing from pointing this out.

    unless you're offering martin?

  • Like many other comments on here, I posted my phone over a week ago and had no correspondence. Therefore, I emailed them today and later received a confirmation email that it had been received and gone for testing! 7 days ago I posted the phone and on their website it says 'within 7 days'. It's a lie to get you to use them.

A few minutes after receiving the email, I received another email saying this...

    Dear Phill

We received your batch today, our engineers are currently assessing your handset.

    Thank you for your email

    Kind Regards

    So I replied......

So why does it say on your website within 7 days? I posted the device a week ago.

I will let you know what I receive back.

    Won't be using them again....

    Here is what I received...

    Dear Phill

The turnaround time begins from the date of booking in. Transit time is not part of the 7 day process.

    Thank you for your email

Except it takes 7 days for them to receive the package and an email from myself to get any acknowledgement. I wonder if they should advertise this on there website too?
  • They do seem very slow. It's took 11 days for my phone to get there and be booked in. Then it's taken nearly another week to get it tested. Still not showing as paid out, but not expecting it quickly after all this! Compared to fonebank who I used before it's excruciating. So long as I get the cheque I'll be happy, but I doubt I'd use them again.

  • Hmmm. Bit worried about some of the negative feedback on here now.
  • Hi,

I used Love2Recycle for 3 phones so far with another currently processing and have had no issues at all.

They kept me updated with the status ( phones recieved and testing, All OK cheque will be issued in several days ).

It took overall around 2 weeks or so ( considering it is xmas time that was pretty good). I recieved my cheques, took them to the bank the same day and they have cleared.

I too was concerned with the negative feedback but took the chance and was glad I did, that is why I decided to post that I had no problems at all, from starting the order to recieving money.

    So I would deffo recommend...
  • what an excellent service. i posted my mums black N95 off before xmas and got a cheque within 5 days. it arrived just before christmas eve...

just in time to spend on my boyfriends christmas present!!!

i am already looking for other phones in my house to send in - it is just so easy....i got lots of email updates telling me what was going on....and over £100 for the phone. i checked against other sites but this one is on the TV so i trusted it more than some of the others

As there's no "suspicious" icon, this will have to do...:cool::cool::cool:
  • Sent my N95 8GB to them a week ago.
Got an email this morning saying they received a plain N95 and were therefore adjusting their offer.

I gave them a ring and basically informed them they were incorrect. Eventually, after a bit of to and froing they asked me what colour it was. "Black" i said.
Their response was that they'd received a plum coloured N95.

On their system they have the correct IMEI number for the phone i sent and they are claiming it came off the plum phone and that there is no way they messed up. Ridiculous.

I'm waiting for a call back once their warehouse opens but i'm not confident. I can't even get my phone sent back as i'll just get this plum thing so i think i'll eventually have to accept the lower offer.

    Con men.
