I sent 3 mobiles off to this company, using 2 seperate jiffy bags - even though I used recorded delivery they deny receiving either package and I have not received a penny! I'm owed about £120 altogether.
Now obviously I don't know whether this is actually the fault of Royal Mail but I know someone else who sent them a phone which also mysteriously didn't arrive - coincidence? If there is genuinely a problem with phones going missing in transit maybe they should arrange a tie-in with a phone store for people to drop off in person or something...doesn't seem right that we're punished for their/Royal Mail's mistakes!
I am currently in the process of proving that I sent the phones to them but I definitely won't be using them next time I recycle a phone!0 -

I thought I would log in today to see if my handset (posted on 11th november) had arrived.... all of a sudden their system is telling me I am not registered with them and it does not recognise my email address or password...have called them and someone will be calling me back shortly they say! The lady on the phone told me the handset had not arrived by looking up the reference number I was given....0

I sent my phone off (n73) in by own envelope by recorded post as I'd read a few bad reports on here about waiting a long time for their freepost envelope to arrive. I think the small expense is worth it.
Received what I thought was a very good price for the phone (£60) especially since it had seen better days. I got an email back within a day or so confirming that they had received it and would be paying the full amount so no problems there.
My only slight issue was that it did take quite a while for the money to come through (I opted for bank transfer). It was within their 7 working days time limit but only just (came just over a week later).
Still, they did what they said they would so I can't be complaining too much.
All in all a good experience.0 -
Hi all
Another line of caution about M4URM...I sent them a Nokia N95 8GB yesterday, which I was using up to the very last day I got upgraded. It was in absolutely excellent condition and there were not even scratches on it, let alone it being fully operational. I had no doubt I would get the £114 quoted.
I received an email today saying I will get £0.00! Absolutely shocked I emailed them back, certain that it was just a mistake. Instead of reassurance I received an email saying that the network provider had blocked this handset and therefore I am entitled to nothing. I have no idea what that means because I was using the phone until so recently that I have no doubts it's a mistake. Except of course if they mean that there is a lock code set up (which I had for safety of my personal data in case it was ever stolen). That should have been reset when they reset the software of the handset.
They have also refused to return my perfectly functional expensive handset, despite me including a note in the parcel specifically asking for it to be returned if it is not 100% in excellent condition. I understand that they say they will not return it but how can they keep someone's property without their will if the person has made clear their own T&C in writing?
I am very upset by this. I believe this is a flawed system and it works to the advantage of these companies who can claim whatever they want as a reason not to offer any money for goods they receive. I would expect they legally have to show some sort of evidence that they are telling the truth.
I am waiting their response to my 2nd email making clear that I want the handset back.

Hi there. The issues with login have now been resolved thank you but my handset is still showing as awaiting receipt despite being posted on 11th November, just wondering what I should do now....0
