    EDITED:
I had been concerned about problems with wrong code and not being able to contact them easily..however i have been paid perfectly fine!
  • I sent in an N96 by special delivery, they denied ever receiving it so I emailed them the consignment number which showed they did recieve it and it was signed for. Guess what - now they are ignoring my emails!!

The next call is to trading standards to see what I can do about it

EDITED to remove negative comment, as all has been resolved :)
  • Hey everyone! New user.

Just telling you that I have decided against going with this company due to the policies of not returning handsets and the high percentage of people on here struggling with issues from this phone company claiming stuff has been water damaged.

I am convinced that they aren't as legit as they seem to be, so I will be going with mazuma.

Thanks for the feedback, you potentially saved me a lot of heartache as the money from the sale of my mobiles will have to go towards avoiding filing for bankruptcy....so much for university students having it easy.
  • Hi everyone

I am the official Money4urMobile spokesperson and if I can assist with any outstanding orders or problems you have then I would be pleased to help.

We pride ourselves on great customer satisfaction and have thousands of satisfied customers each week, our testing and grading procedures are continually reviewed to ensure fairness to the customer whilst also ensuring we can resell / repair / recycle the product, but where there is damage we have a reduction table in place which is shown upfront in the terms and conditions on our site.

Money4urMobile is run by Redeem Plc and we have over ten years experience in the business supporting consumers, businesses and charities, helping them to make money out of old items.

We also pay by BACs which gets the cash to you sooner and saves you the hassle of waiting for cheques to clear.

Again if we can help anyone with queries we would be pleased to help.

I have an iPhone 3G 8gb phone which is in immaculate condition (it's always been in a case and has a screen covering on it). I am drawn to this company because a representative is active in the forums. But from what I've read, if they claim there's something wrong with my phone, they just keep it! Can that be right?? Can they legally steal a £170-odd worth phone on their say so alone?

The other general question is that I have the box, cables, manual etc all also in perfect condition. Do the recycling companies not want these items as well?

    Thanks

    Caroline

  • Hi CPicking!

We change our prices 3 times a week to ensure you are always getting the right price but for fully working 8gb 3g iphones you will get £177 today.

Before you send just have a check at the revision table in the t&cs incase your phone has any problems, all the reductions are covered here. For iphone there is intensive processing proceddures as they are such sophisticated devices but if your phone is in a great condition you will get paid. We are however really fair with our grading and have thousands of satisfied customers every week.

We have actually changed our policy on phones which completely fail our testing and give the customer 3 days to get in touch to arrange for their phone to be sent back. In the past this has been difficult as we have thousands of items going through our warehouse each day,

We also pay BACs so save the hassle of waiting on cheque to clear.

For iphones it would be great to have the charger so please include if you decide to send to us.

    Anymore questions please just ask!
