mine is being looked into and I will update the thread accordingly - communications with the company have been very pleasant so far, so a good start.
(the details on this site mention you can use the £5 code on up to 3 orders from the same house, as you have done).

My case is also now being looked into. I received an e-mail tonight which is more concilliatory in tone but they are still disputing the value I was originally quoted.....hmmm:rolleyes:
Will update once sorted on here.0 -
Following on from a period of e-mail correspondance between M4URM and myself, I'm pleased to report that the matter has now been resolved. :j
It is regretful that the first person who answered my call and initially dealt with my complaint was so unhelpful and seemed to be 'stone-walling' me-hence my anger and frustration
Since then though 'Ruth' at the company has done her best for me and has personally taken charge of following up my initial complaint :T
My revised opinion of this firm for anyone considering using them is that you should try and take a screenshot of your price (plus any voucher if applicable) and always get proof of posting using recorded delivery....!
That way, if there are any issues apparent these can be used to support your case!
(I have posted this in the interests of fairness to all parties....)0 -
Posted phones tues, email received weds saying all was well, cheques posted thursday and I received them today (friday)! Awesome. Unlike love2recycle, which is a different story at the moment.... grr!0

They offer slightly more than all the others but this is a con as they tell you that your phone (returned in their envelope) was water damaged when it was in A1 condition when sent..
Just a warning for other potential customers, I sent off 3 phones in the same jiffy bag and 2 of them were paid the correct amount for. However, phone 3 - a K750i in full working order - wasn't paid for. After waiting 3 days for a reply, they advised me:

The Sony Ericsson K750i we received was water damaged. This falls into level 5 of our terms and conditions. This is why no funds were paid out for this handset

Thanks"

What a crock of crap! The phone (whilst not exactly in new condition) worked perfectly fine and sure as hell wasn't water damaged! I've sent a reply back detailing this fact, but I'm holding out little hope in getting a favourable outcome tbh.
It might have only been worth around £20, but that's money I'm still due...

:T sent M4URM a working w910i beginning of last week, just checked my bank account and they have paid me £45.50 within 7 days of me posting - i used their freepost bag they sent me, took it to post office and it cost me 70p to send it recorded (this covered me upto a value of £39 - nearly what the phone was worth) i had no problems with them at all. ii would use this service again as they pay more than i would get from ebay and i dont have to pay fees :T0

I've had a good experience with M4URM too, sent my phone off by recorded delivery on the 22nd, received a confirmation e-mail on the 23rd and had the money in my bank account today (28th). Can't complain!
I did wrap my phone in a plastic bag because all the water damaged responses people have had did worry me a bit...0 -
Have to say that Ruth also sorted my problem very promptly and was extremely helpful and friendly.
I really think the company need to offer customers the opportunity to say no and have the phone sent back free though - otherwise the service is in danger of looking like a scam sometimes - ie. offer you 50, you send it, we give you 10 and say it was wet. - you can't have it running like that.
Anyway, thanks to Ruth, who was excellent - but as their customer base gets bigger they won't be able to have a "Ruth" looking after every problem case.
