I wish I'd seen this thread before! I got an email that didn't specify the price they were going to pay, and each attempt to phone them has been met with a recorded message.
Doesn't look good but will keep you posted....Overpay!0 -

I'm starting to think you're right. Still haven't heard anything. :mad:Overpay!0 -
Hi All,
I too have fallen foul of their terms and conditions, they're disputing the condition of my phone falsely (at a 10% reduction) and asking for 15 quid to return the phone to me.
Apparently there's nothing trading standards can do with companies like this unless I pay the £15 and then take them to court, hardly worth it for a few pounds
Just steer well clear is my advice, they are dodgy.0 -
Hello there,
Really sorry that some people have had bad experiences with Money4UrMobile, we constantly strive to provide and great customer experience and the only time we will offer reductions to value is if there has been genuine damage. We are one of the only companies who provide a full grading table telling you the percentage revision we apply per damage type so that you know upfront before you send your items what any likely revisions would be. We also provide a full checklist and supporting information on our site to let you pack everything and also get it to us safely.
We pride oursleves on being fair and helping the customer out however, where there is damage we will apply a revision. Our charge to return the item to you if you require it simply covers the costs we incur in receiving it. Phone returns are always a last option for us and we will retest items and hold them for 3 days if you recieve a revision.
Hope this helps, if I can be of any more help with any specific order details then please let me know.
Thanks“Official Company Representative

Money4urmobile claim to be a Scottish company called Redeem Limited, their accounts are late they have not been filed at Companies House. This is now a criminal offence for which they will be fined.
I sent them a fully working Nokia N95 8GB, they claim it doesn't work and have reduced their offer by 75%, they wont return the phone without me sending them an extortionate £14.95, I have offered them the actual postage.0 -
DO NOT USE MONEY4URMOBILE! BE WARNED!!
I wished i had looked on here before i decided to go with these con artists!! I posted them a Nokia xpressmusic 5800 (in perfect working order and NO cosmetic damage!!) after getting a price quote of £81 and a Nokia N95 8GB (the only thing wrong with this one was the screen, but can be easily fixed so did expect reduction to price quote for this one).
I have had an email this morning saying the Nokia xpressmusic has a 10% reduction, !!!!!!!! NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH THE PHONE! it was also fully charged! and the N95 has been reduced by 100%, i did expect a reduction for this one but not by 100% considering they will fix the phone themselves and sell for a profit!
i have bee trying all morning to get hold of someone as i want to know exactly what the 10% reduction to the xpressmusic is for and i want the N95 back! but i keep getting an automated message
I have to say i am NOT happy and will never be using them again! so now it looks like i have to go down the long and irritating road of trying to get my phones back, oh and special delivery for the two phones was only £5.50 so where the hell they are getting £14.95 i have no idea
BIG SCAM! AVOID!!
Edited to add:
Finally got through to someone,
xpressmusic was reduced due to a scratched screen! WRONG! as i said before the phone has nothing wrong with it!
and the N95 due to......wait for it!........water damage!!!! really??!! i smell a scam
so now I'm £14.95 worse off thanks to these guys
a complaint that probably wont be looked at or replied to will be heading their way

I sent my phone to Money4URMobile and they emailed to say they were deducting 10% from the value - no proper explanation, they just referred me to the terms and conditions, which are very general and refer to a variety of causes - flat or missing battery, PIN lock applied, minor cosmetic damage etc. None of these applied to my phone so I contacted them again and was told my phone had "bad scratches on cover". This was definitely not the case as my phone spent its entire existence in a soft pouch and had never been dropped, skidded etc. There appears to be no means of recourse so I've just had to accept the reduced payment. I definitely will not be using this company again - you might like to think twice too.0

I have to say im not sure on this firm. I sent my phone unrecorded exactually a week ago now and after a few emails which to be fair they have answered very quickly the phone has not arrived. I have sent some 10 phone to masuma and not one has gone missing in the post so i dont know wether i trust them or not. If it dont arrive with them by tomorrow i will report it stolen to my network provider and the police.:cheesy: K2nga :cheesy:

Hi K3nga
We're sorry you have had a problem with the post. We guarantee you that as soon as we receive your item we will process it straight away and you can be assured that this is not an excuse we genuiely have not recieved this item yet.
I dont have the specific details of your order but let me assure you that we work closely with Royal Mail to identify and attempt to prevent loss through the postal service however, because there are occasions (in all sectors) where items dont get to us or where delays occur. Thats why we always recommend orders are sent to us special delivery. If we had tracking numbers we would be able to work with you to identify what had happened and support you making a claim to Royal Mail.
Your item may well still arrive so please dont give up hope however, it may be an idea to contact your network regarding blocking the handset. This would mean if we recieved the handset it would have a Checkmend block on it and we would be unable to process straight away however, you would be notified and could contact your network to have this block lifted. It adds a step onto the process but will give you peace of mind that noone is able to use your handset and profit from it.
Hope this helps.“Official Company Representative
