Hi, yes this is getting more and more the normal practice, leaving it until the last minute. If they havent done so by tuesday though click the default button before 9am on wednesday, if you go to https://www.!!!!!!.uk you will find all the info on there0 -
Barclays Bank have filed a defence because i forgot to attach the schedule of charges to the claim form, (also lists the usual blurb).

Hi, they havent filed a defence because of that alone, it is getting standard now. if you go to https://www.!!!!!!.uk/forum. there is a letter there specifically for this. if you post on there giving a brief run of their defence they will make sure you are sorted.0 -
Hi there,
I am not used to chatting on this forum so please bare with me! I currently have a Norwich & Peterborough account in my name which I have had for about 8 years but originally it was a joint account with my ex. I have only had this account on my own for the last 3 years approximately. How do I go about claiming any charges and do I ask for a full 6 years or just the last 3. My ex originally opened the account and I was added when he needed me to go on the mortgage for him (he had managed to get himself into a lot of debt and needed me on the mortgage to release some equity to clear it all). The debt before this got to a stage where some months we had hundreds of bank charges - I remember one month over £400 which really messed us up! I have paid the account and am in credit (first time in years!) and so also opened another account in case they decide to close it. Also who do I make the £10 cheque payable to? sorry if these are dumb questions! Anything is much appreciated. I have finally sorted my financial affairs out so this seems the best time to do this!0 -

Hi, you can reclaim all the charges dating back 6 years, the fact that it was joint does not come into it, for many reasons. send the dpa from https://www.!!!!!!.uk/forum it speeds things up, you will also get all your questions answered with all the support you need. you are beeter off with the dpa with cash at your local branch in person.0 -
Hi thankyou very much, unfortunately they have recently closed my local branch - the nearest one is 50 miles away which is a bit of a pain (another reason to close it!!) I will have a go with the consumercorner forum - do you think cash or cheque would be best and should I pay it to the bank?
Thankyou!!0 -
