Also can i claim these charges back from my store and credit cards? (GE capital, Creation Finance and Barclaycard)
Hi, no you dont need proof for the first letter, but you will do later on an i wouldnt trust someone reading them to you. you will eventually need the statements or list of charges. go to www.!!!!!!.uk, all the templates you need are there as well as all the advice.
yes you can reclaim your charges from store and credit cards (GE capital, Creation Finance and Barclaycard) as well as catalogues, utility companies, etc. etc.0 -

Hi yes you can claim on a closed account, however if it is joint and you needed two sigs then you will need the other account holders permission in writing, if it was sole signature then you are fine doing it without permission. go to www.!!!!!!.uk, all the advice you need on this is there0 -
I've received all my statement from HSBC and entered the details in the spreadsheet but I'm confused with regards to the figure I am to enter in this paragraph:
What I require
I calculate that you have taken £XXX plus £XXX which you have charged me in overdraft interest for the sum which you have taken. Total £1003.13. I enclose a schedule of the charges which I am claiming with this letter.
The total charges they deducted is £798.00 and the interest, as per the spreadsheet calculation is £205.13 so is this the figure that goed where the second set of XXX are above?!
Thanks0 -

Hi
I've had a look at the website you quoted and it doesn't mention anything in the Schedule A document about claiming interest. This seems to suggest you only state the actual amounts charged.
The spreadsheet on this website calculates interest at 8% but I can't get my head round this wording: "which you have charged me in overdraft interest for the sum which you have taken".
Is the 8% figure right?! Am I entitled to request this back at this early stage or only when I proceed if they haven't paid up?0 -

you only claim the 8% when and if you file a claim at court, there is another spreadsheet at cc for that purpose the one you mentioned is for before you go to court stage.0
