Is there anyone out there that would be willing to take a look over what I've filled in on the form that has already done it. The 8% has confused me. Do I just leave this in or what????
Lloyds only got my statements to me just 2 days after their deadline and I think I might be fighting a losing battle.
Has anyone had Lloyds success.

hi, i will be pleased to have a look for you go to www.!!!!!!.uk and email me what you have done. you are not fighting a losing battle its one you cannot lose as long as its done right and you dont back down0 -
Hi, I had a read of the article and would like to proceed but before I can I need a little clarification.
At the top of the article it says to start by writing a normal letter to the bank, then if they refuse to give you anything to threaten them with legal action.
Should I do this? Or first go to the ConsumerActionGroup forums, find out exactly which charges I have incurred and then post my letter there?
Your assistance is much appreciated - Tom.0 -
Hi, we filed with moneyclaim for Barclays and first direct. They were deemed to have been served on 7th August. I've just checked and First Direct filed a defence on 2/09/08. Barcalys don't seem to have done anything but do keep sending me offers for one third of the claim.
What do I do now please?0 -
arkonite_babe wrote:I discovered today that an unauthorised withdrawal was taken from my account for an insurance policy. I did not ask for the policy to be renewed, nor did I authorise any payments to be taken from my account. Who do I now claim from? Do I claim from the insurance company for taking the money without asking or do I claim from the bank for releasing it in the first place? As a result I was charged an unauthorised overdraft fee of £30
Needless to say, I'm not a happy bunny  and I want my money back
Any advice would be appreciated as I have never been in this situation before.
Thanks
they are allowed to automatically renew your insurance as long as they send you a renewal notice stating they will do so in 30 days unless they hear from you. as for the bank they are not responsible for this however you can reclaim the charges from your bank and cancel the insurance and obtain a refund. if you need more help go to www.comsumercorner.co.uk

hi, at 12.01am in the morning click the start button against barclays and get a judgment by default. you win. as for 1st direct you will get a copy of their defence which you need to let someone look at or at least post it up. go to www.!!!!!!.uk all the answers and help including response to the defence is there.
hope this helps for now0 -

hi there is no need for the first letter however you do need to get your statements first by sending the dpa letter this includes your first request for a refund.

take a look at www.!!!!!!.uk
I'm not sure what you mean by this. He had an od and there are lots of fees on days when he exceeded the limit. On the whole he is within the limit but the total of these charges over the years is very high, possibly over the small claims limit. Can he claim these back or are they legit in the same way the interest on an authorised overdraft is?And if, you know, your history...0 -

Hello money savers,
I am currently in the process of reclaiming unfair charges from Lloyds TSB, it has got to the stage of them entering a defence and I have today received a court allocation questionaire.
Has anybody had to fill one of these forms in, if so could you please give me some advice on certain parts of it:
Section E - Experts
Section G - Other information
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Many thanks0 -
Same boat as Dunnieboy. Today I've received a court allocation questionaire for my First Direct claim and status for Barclays is "Halted" what does that mean please and what do I do now?0
