Is it not more likely someone has read your posts and recognised you from your postings and it doesn't have to be a member, anyone can read these forums. Though how they would know your exact whereabouts from forum posts I don't know.

I hope Black Saturn tells us how this happened, as she/he says they know who it is, otherwise a lot of people are going to be thinking horrible thoughts about a lot of innocent people.

Black Saturn - so sorry about your problem ex, feel proud of what you have done, and continue doing. If people make horrible, negative comments, just think about what you have achieved, how happy and well looked after your children are, and how the majority of people who have read your threads have found them helpful and inspiring. Having a problem ex myself, i know how difficult they can be, i really hope things will work out ok.

Someone on this board (and I know it's not anyone who's posted on this thread but I do have an idea who it is) has appreared to get very jealous because I have my life sorted out. I have mentioned several times on MSE about my abusive ex. Whoever this someone is has found me on ebay (which isnt difficult as I use the same user name everywhere I go) and found that my ex bid on some items of mine with intent to leave negative feedback. It might not take a genius to work out that was my ex. So the person off of here has copied and pasted comments I've put about him and sent it to him via ebay.

I had 3 loud knocks on my front door last night. One at 10.30pm, one at 1.30am and one at 3.30am. I looked out the windown with all of them. I suspect the 10.30pm one might have been the Avon lady but the others were male, other than that I don't know.

Just to set the record straight, I saw the posts by Black Saturn last night where she posted a link to an Ebay auction for a device to tape phone calls and stated that her ex had bid and won on it. Thus giving anyone who read the thread access to the identity of her ex for some four hours.

Her question was to the effect of should she be warning her ex's other ex girlfriends that he had purchased this device.

BS then posted that someone had got in touch with her ex and told him what she had said on the thread. I posted that I had reported the post as it had an ebay link on it and asked what she expected to gain from posting it. Advice, was the answer.

I do not know who contacted her ex through Ebay and I personally wouldn't even know how to go about it. For more than four hours the information was there on an open forum, somewhat foolish and that was why I reported the ebay link.

It was her ex's Ebay user name that was linked to not Black Saturn's.

it could have been anyone, they may have never had anything to do and just did it for mischief sake

This is my post hi-lighted. I never started a new thread for reasons mentioned above.

E'lass- Thank you for clearing that up. I was actually out last night and am still nursing the hangover.

Black saturn- the only way I can think of that someone has identified your whereabouts is by recognising your kitchen you posted. Not that I know how to post pics anyway but it is the reason why I wouldn't post my kitchen as I prefer to remain more anonymous. Not that I'm knocking anyone who did post a picture or whoever started a thread, just giving the reasons why I wouldn't.

Ok, lets get this thread back on track. I have just cooked my pork roast dinner followed by the strawberry mousse made with jelly and evaporated milk.

Later on we are going for a walk on the seafront with the dog.
