I can hardly express how angry I felt reading Black Saturn's last post. Several times I have seen some very negative comments about individuals not only on this thread but others. A while back funky gibbon was also attacked for offering advise and the benefit of his experience. And why? Because someone resented how much money he earned. But now a family's life may be turned upside down. I have learnt so much from people, and I don't discriminate between them because they are better off or worse off than me, they are offering help and advise in what is supposed to be a mutually supportive community. I have found so much here: recipes. cleaning tips, where to get cheap mobile phones, budgeting, saving (£2 club and mortgage pig), the list goes on. What is wrong with people wanting to share their ideas and offer help? The vast majority of people here are willing to share and care but it takes only a few neanderthals to spoil things and put people off.
Sorry for the rant but I had to get that off my chest.
On a personal note Black Saturn I hope things work out for you. I for one am grateful for what you have posted and wish you the best for the future.

That's the biggest load of twaddle I've read on this board. :mad: I don't think anybody that has posted on this thread has *a chip on their shoulder* & the posts in the middle you were referring to had nothing to do with you personally. It was based solely on the menu you had written out which is the norm on a discussion thread.

I'd love to know who did it thats all. I will be posting again. Last night when I posted that I was so angry at the person who did this to me (and I have an idea who it was) I just wanted to make them see what their actions has done. I won't let him push me out of my home again and I won't let me scare me. Thankyou to the person who told him for making me an even stronger person than I was in the first place.

It's not a load of twaddle. I have experienced negative comments from people who seem jealous because I've paid my mortgage off

I'm sorry to hear that, but how would they know that bit of info? I don't recall your mortgage business being discussed in this thread. I should imagine lot's of people have their mortgage paid off, you would not be the only one. Congratulations on that achievement though. It's one that everybody aspires to and I'm glad that you have reached it, as I'm sure the majority of the posters think the same.

It seems to be a moot point whether this thread contained negative comments towards BS, however I have followed some other threads she has contributed to and have definitely detected some hostility which has made for very uncomfortable reading. I consider myself a fairly perceptive person and for this reason I can understand BS feeling as she does. However as said, to have experienced this in your personal life is truly awful, if it is as a result of this forum!!!!

I think you have given so much to the board - recipes and advice and its a very low person who has done this to you - take care and post again please - hope you dont have to move again. Never mind what others say - we the majority of us enjoy your postings.
