Well I thought the mousse turned out OK but my children said it was horrible and left all the raisins behind

I love chocolate and I love raisins but hate them together! My OH love choc raisins so they are a safe treat for him (no fear of me 'stealing' them when he's not looking).

Did the cobbler again tonight - it's become a firm favourite. I think I'm going to have to ration it to once a week.

Made apple cobbler tonight. But made it in individual muffin trays. Single portions means I eat less and have some to freeze for abother day. It was fab. thanks Black Saturn for the recipe. :T

I bought some Sainsbury's basics dried mixed fruit yesterday - it was cheaper than the raisins, and made the malt loaf with that instead of the raisins, it turned out great. The In-laws turned up as it was ready, and I gave them a slice each. FIL was very impressed. I gave MIL the recipe, and when they popped in today she said that yesterday she made sure she got the ingredients, but discovered that she hadn't got a meatloaf tin (they moved 18 months ago, and she cleared out lots of stuff) so they went and bought one today.

They turned up today just before the Liverpool - Everton game, and stayed to watch it, and FIL asked if I happened to be cooking one today (they don't last very long in this house) so I made one when they were here. So I have got major brownie points :A with my FIL thanks to Black Saturn. Thank you very very much :T :T :T . Todays one seems to have all gone as well. But at that price, it is ok the amount that my family eat.

Thanks everyone for your thanks and encouragement but I'm afraid I'm not going to give advice on this board ever again. Today I have expressed my concerns about an issue on another thread and as a result of that someone has contacted my abusive ex and told him of my wherabouts. I'd like to say thankyou to whoever that was for potentially ruining my life and now I may have to move again.

I think people get jealous on this board and get a chip on their shoulder every time someone gets ahead of them. Reading the posts in the middle of this thread about me can only confirm that.

Being broke all the while must make you miserable and it really shows on this board.

    That is awful.

There is nothing much that I can say except to wish you luck and hope the lowlife who contacted your ex gets what they deserve.

Sorry to hear that. I have found a lot of your posts very helpful and have noticed when you don't seem to have posted for a while. It's funny how a few names seem to stand out even the ones you might not always agree with.Hope everything works out o.k xxx
