tried the choc mousse black saturn....used double cream as alot of people on here suggested but was a bit too sickly for me....OH loved it tho lol
will try it again with less cream and more chocolate i think.....yummy!!! oh and whipping the cream too, as i didnt do that this time )

I have to admit to being a bit confused by this.

If there has been enough information posted by black-saturn to be able to identify her - then surely she herself is to blame.

Why would anyone do that if they were genuinely scared of an abusive ex?

And following on, why would they continue to post about said abusive ex once their identity had been revealed - especially with non-allegations of banging on the door - I say non-allegations because apparantly there were bangs on the door but she doesn't know who made them - except perhaps the avon lady. If there was an abusive ex waiting in the wings then any person genuinely scared would not risk antogonising them further with this kind of talk - false allegations etc. Instead they would be more likely to shut up and speak to the police.

I don't wish to be unsympathetic if there genuinely is a problem, but it doesn't ring true to me - and believe me I have come across similar types of trolling before.

Despite the fact that this is a public forum, imho coming on here and basically calling her a liar is NOONES right - perhaps BS only has herself to blame but we ALL make mistakes.

someone here either posted recently or has in their signature that we should always live life in the other persons shoes , if what youre typing/saying/doing hurts you then its likely to be hurting them too!!

lets try and have a little warm heartedness around???

my mom used to say : if you dont have something nice to say then dont bother saying it at all.

The problem there is, that it was Black Saturn herself who has provoked this discussion by making sweeping statements about fellow MSE'ers without anything more to go by than her own suspicions and anxieties.

In OS we don't usually have heated discussions and if we do, it will at least be on topic. Sadly, BS brought that element into Old Style and a menu planning thread (of all places). I had already said in my previous post that by BS choosing this thread and this part of the forum to vent her suspicions and aim them at a fellow MSE'er without any proof to substantiate her claims could prove provocative; clearly it has.

It's only natural that others have the potential to feel a reaction to those remarks and want to make their own comments in return.

What would be really disappointing and upsetting is if as a result of one person's attack through accusations, founded or unfounded, aimed at everyone here; we all began to take offence towards individual members who post in response to that. BS made sweeping statements aimed at us all; Trow (as one of the *all* the statements were aimed at) has responded to BS.

BS *thinks* (no proof) that someone on here has done something to cause trouble in her RL. (That's just her opinion)
Trow *thinks* it isn't true (that's her opinion)

Just as you feel that no one has the right to come on a public forum and call BS a liar; surely it's equally fair to say that BS doesn't have the right to come on here and accuse one of us of a malicious act?

Like I said, I don't read many of BS's posts because there does appear to be a pattern of them becoming contentious - just as this one is doing

I don't know one way or the other who, if anyone, has committed this alleged malicious act. I do know it isn't a moneysaving issue. I do know it isn't a menu planning issue, nor an Old Style one; I do know that accusing a whole community isn't in keeping with Martin's ethos of being nice to all money savers. I do know that Black Saturn works with victims of domestic violence and is no stranger to the devious methods that abusive partners in and out of a relationship can employ to cause trouble if they so choose. Which means that BS also has the knowledge, the resources and support network in place to deal with this situation should she need to do so. I also knew it had the potential to cause division between other members expressing their opinions that otherwise had nothing to do with BS personal problems. What a great pity
