And I have just taken my third malt loaf in three days out of the oven, and yes, my in-laws are here to help eat it!
MIL tried to make it last night having bought a meatloaf tin, but had a problem in that she only had low calorie sweetener (splenda), and she tried to weigh out the amount of sugar that is needed, but found out it took a lot of splenda so decided to wait until she had sugar. A good job really, as splenda and sugar are not done weight for weight, but amount for amount -ie, one spoon of splenda is as sweet as one spoon of sugar, but weighs a lot less. So it would have been a bit disasterous (sp).Quidco cashback paid out so far £745.89 :j0 -

And I've just cooked you fruit cobbler for the first time and it went down an absolute treat :j I made it with a tin of pineapple chunks I found at the back of the cupboard and served it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream - it was delish0 -
Black Saturn - while I don't follow or participate in all of your threads, one thing I have noticed is, that in many of them, they have a tendancy to become "contentious".
I am also aware of your circumstances with regard to being a victim of domestic violence.
What does puzzle me is this: of all the 100's of domestic violence victims I have encountered, you do seem to draw quite a lot of attention to yourself and your past - which is quite unusual for someone who has been abused. A great many survivors of abusive relationships go to great lengths to keep private their current circumstances simply because they want to put their past behind them and move forward. Equally, you do have a tendancy to feel "victimised" by other people's opinions. You must remember: this is an internet forum! Your selfworth is *not* tied up in the acceptance of the posters.
Black Saturn - perhaps the time has come to do one of two things:
either, do not speak so often about your personal circumstances/situation thus protecting yourself from potential negative comments by other posters and the harm that could do to your already damaged self esteem;
or, you accept that not everyone will perceive things the way you do.
In addition, I would go so far as to say, that you have still a long way to go before you reconcile yourself to the abuse you have suffered and need to put that as a priority in your life for your sake and that of your children. Do seek the advice and help you need on the real issues in your real life.
Addressing your past domestic issues on a moneysaving internet forum may *feel* therapeutic at the time, but it really isn't the place.
While you may feel that your ex coming after you is a real issue, I doubt that the users of MSE are so wrapped up in your life to do as you claim. If you use the user name Black Saturn in all your internet interactions (here, your website, Ebay) then surely you must realise that it wouldn't take too much effort for someone, somewhere to make connections? As an advisor to other domestic abuse victims and survivors yourself, I would have thought that you would have done more to protect your anonymity than you appear to have done to date if someone has indeed been able to contact your ex and tell him your comments and whereabouts!
Please, Black Saturn, I have read some comments made by *you* in this thread that I find provocative to other Old Stylers simply by the act of making sweeping statements to all, about a faceless, potential one, who may or may not, have been the person you claim has emailed your Ex.
Take your concerns to the people who can deal with the tracing of the who's/why's/wherefores and that is the Police.
To air them in this way and risk offending others based on your suspicions of a faceless possible one, is neither productive, moneysaving or in keeping with Martins ethos of "be nice to all moneysavers". The only purpose it serves is to draw yet more attention to yourself.
I sincerely hope that you and your children are safe and not vulnerable but I think you need to look for the help and the advice you most need somewhere other than a moneysaving website and especially in a menu planning thread.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Later on we are going for a walk on the seafront with the dog.
Sorry BS - you posted as I formulated my reply. *You* were responsible for taking the thread off topic. Others may yet have something they wish to add~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Someone on this board (and I know it's not anyone who's posted on this thread but I do have an idea who it is)
Hang on a tick black-saturn, I have no wish to get involved in any of this and do not fully understand what has happened, but am getting very worried.
My reading of this situation is that you think you have been wronged by someone you have not named but implied is an OS poster who hadn't contributed to this thread prior to your saying the above.
An alternate opinion is that you may have posted information on a open forum yourself which has led to an unfortunate situation.
Hun, you need to set the record straight as a lot of people are now very confused and worried. This is an OPEN forum, we are all, posters and lurkers alike reading these posts.
Many folk have concerns for their safety for their own reasons. Please give any reassurances you can or point out any vulnerabilities, some out there would really appreciate it.My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead

Dora, please read my post. BS posted a link to an Ebay auction and stated that her ex was the winning bidder. She then posted to say that someone had contacted her ex and told him about the posts she had made in DT.
BS can only have known this had happened if her ex contacted her.
edited to add that BS then edited out the contents of two of her posts. I saw the posts before she edited.0 -

Black-Saturn, someone sending your comments to your ex was quite a nasty thing to do but I was wondering, if your ex was bidding on your auctions couldn't he have found your whereabouts through Ebay anyway?Dum Spiro Spero0
