Sorry as this has probably been posted already, but I can't find where it tells me how long to cook the malt loaf for and I really fancy making it for tea tonight - could someone please give me a rough idea? Thanks a lot

I cook it on about 160-170 degrees for about 1 hr 30. My oven's quite old so this varies a bit. Just stick a skewer in it to check if it's done.

I made the cobbler yesterday. There were only two of us so used half quantities then added a cup of thawed blackcurrants. It was really nice-not too sweet. I made it in a shallow dish about 6 inches across and baked it on gas 4 for about 50 minutes
