I forgot about JP's Reebok fair today..hope it goes well.

I also hope that my washing machine gets sorted out Mabel - I cannot abide handwashing and the thought of going back to washing sheets in the bath fills me with dread:eek: I have made a start on clearing out the pantry too:rolleyes: Anyway I have promised myself some pampering on Tuesday so that I am waxed etc before I go to the casino on Tuesday night - I haven't had a night out for ages (probably around 2 years:eek:).

Spoke to ex hubby last night who rang the out of hours doctor the other day and found that he didnt have gastric flu but gastroenteritis so he is off to the GP tomorrow to get a note. He rang me yesterday to compare notes really and I narrowed it down to some sandwich meat that he had eaten because on Saturday and Sunday last week he had a sandwich for lunch whereas I had a slice of pork pie and some crisps. He hasnt been well at all and has been living on water and dioralite rehydration salts. He then went into great depth as to which was the best haemarroid cream and how best to apply it..needless to say i fell about laughing through sheer embarassment:eek::o:rotfl: I tried getting him to change the subject but he insisted on talking about his little problem:o

Please give me a kick up the proverbials if you see me on here - I have a lot to do including writing the contract for the band and finishing off my assignment.

LOL gastroenteritis is horrid - I've had it once and it was NASTY! I'm not sure if it's considered to be contagious but I know that they wanted to know about it at the midwifes when I was pregnant  They noted it down even though it was over 10 years since I had it!

Anyway - *KICK* for horace... get back to work you! ;)

evening all, reebok didnt go very well either i made my table cost back then about £35 n top of that, and i wasa lucky one 4 tables round me didnt even make their tables fees back, supposedly usually you cant move in there but it was empty today. think i must be a bad oman, but got another fayre on thursday and if that fails theres an indoor carboot on sunday that ill do.

Had to see the inlaws this weekend and FIL was kind of ok as much as he gets, but now getting completly snubbed by the sister in law that showed him everything i said on facebook, so much so john even picked up on it and said shes out of order. oh well, just keeping my little family to itself now, and helping my parents i need to stop stressing over them.

thinking myself lucky over reebok at least i came away with some profit but everyone was very upset today.
back to comping in 2017, fingers crossed

MrsT..I didnt do any work..I fell asleep on the sofa..I went to rest my eyes as they have been extremely twitchy (doc told me it was a sign of tiredness) and fell asleep for a couple of hours:rolleyes: Did venture out to the postbox though as I wanted to send off my share documentation as Lloyds TSB have offered me some more shares and so I have used my birthday money and a bit extra to buy them. I am not sure if gastroenteritis is catching..I know that I don't want to get it...although Jim did make me a sandwich on the Sunday night for my dinner as neither of us were hungry so I shall have to wait and see if I get any effects:eek:

JP - sorry to hear that the fayre wasnt very good..I guess the weather has put people off too but at least you made some money. Worry about your own parents, John and the kids and let everyone else get on with it..they're not worth your energy or time - they must be a very sad group of individuals to behave the way that they do.

Well, I have now sorted out the pantry..just need to remove the shelf and move some bits from the hallway and then I am ready for the washing machine repair man tomorrow. Good job I did empty the pantry because I now realise that I am right out of tinned chopped tomatoes (I use the value ones from tesco).
  • JP I didn't get to pop and say hi yesterday- I did have all intentions of doing but by the time we finished shopping for daughters clothes (who drove me half insane) we were knackd. Shame it wasn't busy at least you made your money back and a little extra besides. I hope you made sure you gave everyone something with ur web address on! get some free post cards off Vista Print- u could upload one of your designs! Then you could have something to pass to potential customers.

Have a good day everyone - I have a really busy day today so mum is coming up looking after the baby for me... phew!

The way things are at the moment I think you did really well to make back the cost of your stand and make a profit, if others didnt make back the cost of their stands then people must have loved your items. Good luck for the next one and well done for dealing with the FIL from hell.
Have a good day Horace and travellady

Hi all the washing machine repair man has just left and I am £19 lighter - he believed me when I pointed out which lights were on but he couldnt find anything wrong with the machine so we have put it down to a power surge when the power came on after the massive power outage that we had from Thursday through to Friday afternoon:rolleyes:

JP - I was told by someone that I kept getting picked on because the perpetrator would see something in me that was lacking in them. I can certainly see why the prof picked on me - he was a fake (he got his professorship in america where they just get them and they are not titles awarded by their peers), he was also a complete idiot with no social skills whatsoever whereas I was quite popular - he certainly wasnt and his peers did their utmost to avoid him:rolleyes: I think JP that your outlaws are the way they are because they are jealous because you have the get up and go to work for yourself whilst they can only dream and their lives consist of a load of what ifs.

Rang my insurance broker today as I have been told by Royal & Sun Alliance that they are renewing my public liability insurance..now I havent asked them to renew and they are not getting any more money from me - my broker is getting a quote from Hiscox and as I am already insured with Hiscox they will just increase the premium - I have been advised that the public liability insurance will be £60 less than I pay to RSA:j The nice chappy that I spoke to has been promoted and no longer deals with my account but he is arranging my insurance anyway..such a nice chap and his mum lives not far from me:D I shall be writing to RSA to cancel the policy:j

Need to go and get petrol and feel like a trip to Droitwich - I need to find that shop that my mum was on about because she has seen a nice necklace and is hankering after it..it won't be a christmas present, I will save it for her birthday next March.

    Hi all.

Went out on friday night for an ex-work xmas do. went ok - but got home and realised I had completely forgotten to pay.... felt like an idiot. i had to get someone t pay for me and now I have to pop into work and pay them back ths afternoon. What a nightmare. Such a pain as I actually didn't enjoy ,yself that much. they poeple i normally would want to chat with weren't there so it was a little boring. I will only go in the future if my friends go. I also discovered that many of the things I was unhappy about while I was there have now changed back to how they were. Annoying. But working from home is still way better.

Hubby is downstairs right now installing two new radiators and replacing all teh skirting in the lounge. We shivered through last winter and I refuse to this year. We were heating our conservatory with underfloor heating which cost a fortune. So now we have a radiator in there which will make a huge difference and cost much less.

need to find a good market for an advice article on "Love" which is now complete. I was thinking about wedding magazines - anyone have any other thoughts. Most of these magazines don't like submissions from newbies. But I guess if I wrote a nice letter I might get lucky.
