    Hiya
Hope things are good with you all. I've not been around much because it was my birthday this week - lot of us with birthdays in December. I've had a lovely time.

I'm feeling a bit cheap because lots of clients bought me chocolates for my birthday and I'm re-gifting some of them for presents for the school teachers. The thing is, there's a limit to the amount of chocolate I can eat and by passing some on the teachers are getting something really nice. I still feel a bit bad though!

Work is busy and I've decided to work one day in the week before Christmas and one day between Christmas and New Year. I usually have the full two weeks off because of the children. They're older now and can happily watch a DVD whilst I work. It just means a bit of extra money over Christmas which always helps.

Right, best get back to work. Hope you're all busy xx

Happy belated birthday Muddy. Recycling the chocs sounds like a good plan - don't feel guilty about it either. I shall be giving myself a few days off at Christmas but it will be back to work on the Tuesday and I tend not to bother with New Year.

Today I have been mainly delivering crimble cards for the local conservatives - it was a good walk and workout and beats paying gym prices:D I did a mystery shop yesterday and some shopping in the sales. I might write my christmas cards later and start tidying up as I may put the tree up in the hope that it will make feel festive..I don't feel festive at all and was surprised to see roses still in bloom in some of the gardens where I was delivering the cards.

Hi Horace- glad you're all warm in your new coat :-)

been looking into perhaps doing Betterware if I don't go back to my job, I need a back up for the jewellery. I've signed up for a online mystery shopping company but won't hear about that for a month.

WTC go on the previous years earnings don't they? So in April 2011 I would be claiming for year from April 2010-2011? Is that right?

Hi Moneymummy- welcome to the thread, I'm sure some of the others will be along soon. I make wedding jewellery, Horace is a wedding/events planner, travellady organizes honeymoons and JP makes tiaras and favours so with you we can sort out any wedding!! The MSE wedding company lol:-)

hi moneymummy, welcome to our little thread, like mabel said we could all bunch together and sort any wedding.we all (i think ive never asked) have debt we are trying to sort while running our own business so your not alone here.

hope everyones having a great weekend, ours has been slow should have gone to a christmas party but they postponed it to next week, and tomorrow johns doing a santa fun run. kind of wishing party had stayed today then maybe i wouldnt be wanting to divorce john! just fed upof his family and him not sticking up for me, had a massive fight today and now theres an atmosphere especially after last week i asked him when he was ever likley to say something and defend me and he said he probably never would, i thought id married a man that would love and protect me, seems i was wrong. Now deciding if i want to be here at all, or if he might learn now.

got some ideas for new tiaras today at the wholesalers, their work was shoddy and not good quality but i could make some of the ideas into really nice peices so going to give them a go.
back to comping in 2017, fingers crossed
