Happy belated Birthday to all thos who've had birthdays this week, hope you was pampered and wined and dined!!

JP so its Rebok this week- may pop and say hi if I get chance, it would be good to go actually, as we've been meaning to get there for years!! If you give me a picci of FIL I shall make sure i spill some Vimto down his top lol.

Had an enuiry through yesterday and I know I have come across the name before so I looked it up on Linkedin and I found someone with the same mane that works in travel!! Thing is it is quite a complex enquiry that takes much of my time on the phones- not sure whether I should out as much effort as I usually do but I hate not doing. Pretty sure they're using me to get a quote get all details and pass it to a customer of theirs- good way to cut down a lot of time... or am I just being synical? I do have a sixth sense though!

yeah travellady, reebok is sunday 10-4, there FIL in one of my files on facebook, we are at the car racing and he has a face like a slapped bottom (wont let me swear on here), really hoping they dont turn up, just got problems everywere cos of him down to me and john arguing over it all, as johns insenitive sometimes, im in A&E and john said forget it now, then i hadnt even been told i was going home and he said he was going back to work the day after and he did to, now hes wondering why im exhausted. He's good really he just is used to being bullied from his dad so hes useless in things like this, so he got a mouthfull and lots of crying last night, but i still wont get a bunch o flowers from him lol.

Starting to get back on with things now though, emailed the person about the wedding shop last night, making some extra stuff for sunday and getting all my lists ready, then might design some new tiaras. hoping to do well on sunday so i can book a wedding fayre in january that i saw on haoraces facebook. sorry horace its just up the road from me and i didnt know about it till i saw it on your page, just hoping sunday will give me anough for christmas presents and the fayre.

trying to think of a balloon business name so i can get cards to send out to local businesses and johns work, im thinking i dont want to send car show rooms to a wedding shop so could do with another site for my balloons, but everything i think of is taken webwise. I was even more adamant though when i went to B&Q and they had balloons up, whoever had done them was rubbish id be gutted if that was my work, just didnt have any cards to give them plus was trying to find words other than "who did your balloons here my card i can do them better than that for you!" any suggestions?

JP - I havent looked at my facebook page for ages so have no idea what is on there:rolleyes: If the outlaw picks on you just laugh at him because he is the idiot not you. I am sure that John will come round and if the housework doesnt get done then it doesnt get done so stop fretting about it.

Balloontastic - is the only thing that I can come up with right now.

Weird day. This morning it was lovely and sunny. Tghis afternoon - just as I left the house to pick up the kids it starts hammering down. I ended up after my 20 min walk soaked from knee to foot. I had my umbrella but that didn't help with the ankle deep puddles at my kids school. Luckily the MIL called me and offerred to take the kids home. So they ddin't have to walk back.

I went to the hairdresser this morning and finally my hair is long enough for a proper style. it is now a short bob with a thick blunt fringe. Think Danni Minogue (the hair - not the body!). She blow dryed it and straightened it. it has never looked so good!

While at the hairdresser I told her about my work and as they have just opened a new salon she is going to get in touch about ahving me write their website, newslatters and press releases. it is amazing once you mention to people what your work is then all sorts can happen.

frinday night i have a christmas do with the poeple from my old wkr. this is freaking me out a bit. Will i still have anything in common with them. the good thing that I can make a fool of myself and not have to face them on Monday morning!

hello to evreryone. Sounds like you are all having productive weeks. I am feeling pretty positive right now. i have enough work to keep things ticking over and more on the horizon. I am also actively thinking of new ways to earn more. After two full months being self employed I am not regretting it yet!

Hi JP-grrrrrrr your FIL sounds like a tota %&$£ hope you manage to get one over on him soon-good luck for your Reebok event. Sorry i can't think of any names for the balloon business,I will have a think.
Horace-you do seem to meet some pillocks on your travels, that bloke sounds like a total idiot! How are you doing with the band-did you get any joy from the download guy?

I think I've decided that i dont want to go back to my job-am still signed off sick and have to go back to the docs tomorrow. I really need to find a way of earning about £50 a week to back up the jewellery business til it takes off-any suggestions of anything (legal lol) i can do from home? Was thinking of buying/selling on ebay but not sure what!

Mabel can you get working tax credits? I get them and its just over £50 a week? No luck with the download guy (another pillock if you ask me:rolleyes:), tried to get a gig with captain sensible but I don't think that happened either. Have come to the conclusion that the band play grunge metal as you cannot dance to it or even headbang to it - have tried to get them rally gigs but have been refused so far because of their music:rolleyes:

Have had a thoroughly bad day today..went to Broadway and took the old road up Fish Hill and then discovered that it had been closed off and that I had to go a different way. Went to the Cotswold Conference Centre but you have to go part way up Fish Hill (Fish Hill is incredibly steep)..driving into the Centre itself was also bad, extremely narrow road with few passing placed and a steep hill which I had difficulty driving up when I was coming out..I managed to get into the wrong gear and came to a grinding halt half way up - the road was too steep for a hill start so I had to reverse slowly down the hill and don't ask me how (probably due to a bend in the road), I ended up part way up a bank leaning over at a dangerous angle:eek: I carefully managed to reverse back and then some twit decided that he would like to come up the hill but I made him wait until I could pull into a drive way and then get myself right again. The venue was great but that road is a stinker. Nipped into Broadway village, bought a christmas present, visited the Lygon Arms and left some business cards there (they couldnt stop feeling them:rotfl:) and picked up their wedding and conference brochures - will need to make an appointment to view. Had some lunch at Foxy Browns and stopped in a cook shop and bought a pair of cooking tongs with plastic ends so that my saucepans don't get scratched.
