    Hi David

Join the FSB (£150 for the year) and get free banking for life through the co-op and they will give you at £25 loyalty bonus each year. I waiting for a little while and will then be changing to them. FSB membership will also give you automatic cover should someone decides to sue you. You get a lot of benefits from the FSB.

Well done with the flyers too.

Why not join 4Networking.biz - you can join the online forum for free - its a great way of networking. I know that someone on there has helped JP with an idea that she has for a television programme. They have helped me too - I now manage a rock band and have been asked about researching and possibly organising some seminars.

Happy Christmas to you too - although I can't think about Christmas until after the weekend.
  • thanks for that horace

Nowt wrong with the old stuff...I had to ask someone the other day was indie music was:eek: then I discovered that indie covers all sorts of music and refers to independent record labels:rolleyes: 'my' band plays their own stuff as well as some covers (they're a bit loud though so I always keep my earplugs to hand).:D

Re your massage business..you could market yourself for exhibitions etc as I have often been to trade shows where there has been a massage booth for free massages.
  • Just wanted to say ......

Oh ye great SE peoples :) I am in need of thine advice :)

I need to register as SE as I have done a few jobs outside of my full time job - not related in business or anything else. But as it's literately a matter of maybe £50 or £80 a month and from various sources - a little regular stuff and other more random. But I want to do it all above board!
As I have a FT job too would I still qualify for the low SE limit thingy where I don't have to pay I think it's NI? I don't mind paying it - I just don't know if I should apply for it?
Also are they going to laugh at me for registering for less than £600 a year? I mean there isn't a minimum limit is there for having to register as SE? :)

Sorry totally new area to me and thought I'd come and ask my good fellow DFWs for advice :)
