i'm really impressed with bmp, we sent our 1st cash back claim on Friday, and received an email yesterday advising that it has been approved & cb will be paid via bacs on the 17/10. We've got another contract with tmo, & today is day 47 since they've received the claim, & they're still messing around with paying out cashback.0

hi,
thanks for the useful feedback regarding B.M.P. I am with them, and due to send in my first 5 bills, can i confirm that you go by the 5 digit number on top ie my 5th bill will be no 6 (0005)as the first covers less than a full month, the second is your first full month etc i am with vodaphone my bill date is the 18th
The 2 week window is extended over xmas.
make sure you send the paperwork back by SPECIAL NEXT DAY
(cost around £5 but worth it!)... 'signed for' and 'recorded' are not
guarenteednever put off buying a bargain today,it may be gone tomorrow0 -
Hello all,I'm after a bit of reassurance really on my cashback claim.I rec'd my phone and claim vouchers on 2nd June on a vodafone 500 minutes + 250 texts @ £35 per month. My first claim voucher asks me to send in within 14 days of my 5th airtime bill. My 4th bill is due in the next few days covering 1st Oct - 30th Oct, however my 1st bill I rec'd covered 1st June - 31st July - 2 months worth. Therefore I have 5 months in airtime charges but only 4 actual bills.I have checked with their customer service today who advised that i need to send in 5 actual bills ie. 6 months rental charge. When I send in my claim in another month or so should I mention the conversation I had with the CS representative? Also, having looked through my bills I note that Vodaphone changed my price plan from VP to VP2 - 4 months into my contract. It reads:-Your price plan: Anytime 500 minutes + Vodafone passport + 250 texts (CTR500+VP2+12M+250texts)It did read: Anytime 500 minutes + Vodafone passport + 250 texts (CTR500+VP+12M+250texts) - as you can see they have just added a 2 to the VP.Like I said previously I really would be grateful for any reassurane/assistance -I'd rather get the claim correct and not sit here in 2 or 3 months kicking myself..... Thanking you all in advance - I will keep you informed of the outcome....Caz
Sorry this has been displayed as 1 paragraph - I didn't type it like this - I don't know what has happened.keep saving :wave:0 -

You need to send in your first five bills within 14 days of the date on the fifth bill.
Do NOT wait for bill six to arrive or you will be too late and lose all further claims.
This scenario seems to catch a lot of people out.

Hi,
I ordered 2 mobiles from buymobilephones.net, one for me 1 for my partner, panther 45 and canary 40, with free wii, and free 16gb ipod touch.
After checking with customer services on whether or not to send 2 lots of proofs of address in seperate envelopes specialdelivery, they said to send the 2 contracts with vouchers together in 1 envelope, which makes sense.
I posted my proof of name and address along with my 2 signed contracts and my free gifts vouchers.
Two days later i recieved my nintendo wii, very quick and i was very happy, but my ipod touch still isnt with me a month later. They are saying they have no proofs of name address and numerous phonecalls later they still cant workout that if they had looked in the envelope with the 2 contracts, both under the same name, both with free gifts voucher and same name.
Also watch out for a big first bill, my first bill was £82 for my £40 contract, charge a month in advance, and £85 for my partners on a £45 contract, WHAT A SHOCK!!
My initial opinion of this company was good, but i am getting more worried by the day in regards to my future dealings with them.
I will keep you lot updated on what happens with this.
thanks

Reestit Mutton, I've tried PMing you regarding getting a copy of the cashback voucher for OneStopPhoneShop, but it's saying that you have too many mails in your inbox and you can't accept anymore ...
Could you PM me back or send me an email to shadoos at supanet.com?

Hi can anyone help me?
I ordered two cashback deal 12 month contract mobile phones from buymobilephones.net over the telephone, as they were having problems with the website.
When both my Mum and myself got the welcome pack there were no instructions of how to claim cashback or terms and conditions only some vouchers.
I phoned and was told that at the corresponding date on each voucher to send off the bill (original) Recorded Delivery with the voucher. In August myself and my Mum awaited our August Bills, to double check she was following the proceedure to the letter my Mum actually phoned them again to check she was sending the correct bill etc. Only then did we post off.
After not hearing from them I emailed them only to be told as we had not adhered to the Terms And Conditions they would not pay out this or any subsequent cashbacks!
Surely if I haven't been given any terms and conditions how could I adhere to them? Also the staff don't even seem to know what they are.
I have emailed a few times but to no avail!!!!
:money: Please help I've a lot too lose.0 -
You should get some advice over whether pursuing this has a chance.
They will say they sent you the conditions, which you say you never got. So as far as that is concerned it is your word against theirs.
But bearing in mind it is a large sum of money, you really should have pursued them for the missing conditions - or downloaded them from their site when it was working again.0 -
In my view this is another company to avoid. They don't tell you until after you get the phone (for instance) that you only have 14 days from the date of the relevant bill to get it to them. If they didn't say anything different to the t&c on the website with the phone (which you SHOULD have printed out AT THE TIME YOU ORDERED) and you followed those precisely I think I'd risk suing. LBA first to show you mean it and give them the chance to pay.
Unfortunately you really MUST understand how these companies work before you take out a contract. I found out about the 14 days ONLY from wide reading about them a LONG time ago - or probabaly would have bought from them. In fact IF you DO manage to follow their t&c (including the ones they DON'T tell anyone about on their website) they have relatively good feedback compared with most. Even so - I won't use them.
It all really depends on whether you HAVE followed precisely the t&c in full that you had when you ordered. The 14 days might have tripped you up and is supposedly specified with the phone.0
