    I've been Money Tipped!
mj, they've openly admitted that they will have broken the t&c's if not paid by tomorrow (23rd). They have also stated they've had to change the time-scale for payments to 8 weeks due to the recent issues - BACS apparently!!
They've also admitted there were initial delays with confirmation emails, causing further delays!!
They have confirmed though that the issues only affect cashback payments and NOT new sales. lol
So you shouldn't have any problems ordering a new contract. ;)
Just to add, they also state everything is up to date now to 21st July. Yes, they have caught up!!
Those that are actually caught up will be able to confirm this. Or deny of course.

I was told the last bit almost 4 weeks ago. If you have those things in writing then you can move full steam ahead!

The good old days are here again...!

I certainly have not received my cash back yet, and my next step is to make a claim. They did not reply to my LBA.

So they must be telling lies stating payments are up to date!!

Did you put in your LBA a time limit for payment??
    7 days, 10 days, 14 days etc??
I wouldn't expect them to reply, only to pay the money by the end of your time limit. If it's exceeded the time limit, then Small Claims as they are just messing about.

No money in our account this morning, but as expected to be honest!!

mj, no nothing admitting anything in writing. I wouldn't imagine they'd do that. Though they do state all calls are recorded.

Avoid cash back redemption deals with this company as they aren't paying. Plenty of proof here to confirm that.
    Non-cash back deals only.

It applies to all their sister companies too; Affordablemobiles, Phones.co and Buymobiles.

Having said that, at least my latest claim was accepted within 4 days. Based on a lot of recent dealings with them I am not entirely convinced they won't get back on track. When dealers get into real trouble there tends to be a flurry of killer deals to attract fresh cash. That hasn't happened - the deals are no better than other sources. Then again, our remaining contracts were all killer deal from last year. Whilst it could be argued they were an attempt to attract fresh money there were only two, before the current problems and were gone in a flash, so I'm not reading anything into them.

Whilst I wouldn't take out more with them at present, my exposure is now limited thanks to my actions and if things improve I would consider later if the deals are good enough. I've always stated and viewed them as a high-risk dealer and I therefore go in with my eyes wide open. After all, any loss is offset by the masses of gains overall going back years.

If they fulfil what they promised to me a few weeks ago I will actually be quite impressed - but that hasn't happened yet.

The latest is it will "definitely" be paid next Tuesday.
Listening in on the conversation (loud-speaker), their customer service (is there one??) is a complete joke. They didn't want to listen or even try to resolve anything!!
Basically told to just go away instead of asking how how you would like their problem resolved. A manual payment and this could have been resolved and payment received within a couple of hours. They obviously didn't want to listen or help!!
Not a great way to treat your customers and they must be aware they won't get another commission from our family. We have already an iphone (non-cashback) and a current (cashback deal).
We've already advised a family member NOT to take out iphone deals with them (4s and a 5). Found them deals with Phones4u (Orange) or CPW (o2).

Unless you are totally organised and very patient - avoid.
Not even worth taking non-cashback deals as the customer service is abysmal!! Imagine trying to get an issue resolved in a reasonable time??
Hence why advising family member to go elsewhere.
I'll update in a week+, but hope all you waiting for money get paid quickly.

I put a 14 day time limit on the LBA. No response after 4 weeks. Have now gone down the money claim route, which they have 14 days to respond. Will see what happens!

Thanks and just shows how this company acts and must be a warning to others.
Customer service at virtually the very lowest level, if at all!!
I think to sink lower they'd actually have to give you personal abuse.
Good luck by the way with your claim and hopefully they'll see sense and pay the cashback and fees without delay.
I wouldn't bank on it though knowing how bad they actually are.

They are unlikely to respond to the court. However, they will pay later.
