I am browsing on the internet for Iphone deals - yeah, the Iphone 4S is meant to be much cheaper as Iphone 5 is out.

I found this incredible deal on bymobilephones.net :

I am really doubtful, as it simply sounds too good to be true! The website does not have great reviews if it comes to Iphones. Can it be a hoax?

If it's "buymobilephones.net" instead of what you put it won't be. However, it will be a redemption deal - and they are now (for at least the third time in the last 18 months) paying LATE. Not acceptable and not a good sign. Even if they weren't they are a relatively small outfit and no-one should touch any cashback contract unless they are either prepared not to get the cashback OR really know what they're doing.

This is not a redemption deal but the phone costs £29.99 extra. However £40.40 cashback is available at TCB.

I must warn people about this dealer and it's cashback deals now. I have a cashback which is almost a week late in arriving, so you should know what my next step will be. It's totally unacceptable (and of concern) that a (smallish) dealer who allows themselves the best part of two months to pay a claim can't even manage it on time.

I would warn people about this dealer in general. Very keen to take your money, less keen to deliver a phone. Contacting them by email is pointless, by phone an expensive exercise in frustration. They do try ever so hard to be vague before being forced to lie. Is it worth it to save a few quid? AVOID!!!

Also, look out for the sneaky way they automatically add insurance to any order you make on their website.

It appears in your basket as a tiny innocuous line of text, and if you don't spot it and remove it there, it's not mentioned again until you've confirmed your order.

Actually, looks like my order has eventually come good. I was misinformed previously about what was going on, and you might save yourself some money by calling them on 01773-522-301 (reduces the stress of being in a call queue, when one knows you're not paying 25p/min for the privilege!)

Looking at martins latest newsletter, the cheapest iPhone 4S deal happens to be through buymobioephones.net & it's cheaper by quite a bit.

Luckily for me the deal is on O2, who I'm with & will be staying with.

My question is this:

If you have any problems with the phone, who do you turn to? BMP.net or O2?

Any questions or problems (such as want to cancel) regarding the actual contract, who do you turn to? O2 or BMP.net?

I can't see myself having much issue with the contract, unless hey don't give what they offer, however if the phone sets alight in my hand for example, I'd like to know who to go chasing - O2 or BMP.net.
