Hi, if you already have a decent phone then going for the cheapest phone on a suitable tariff, like the one in the first link, means £1.08/month is possible then either keep the cheap phone as a back up or sell it and along with the quidco cashback means you have actually made money on the contract.
BMP usually limit you to 2 redemption deals at a time plus although quidco say cashback only available to new customers I have received 2 x £30 on three occasions.
As MJ will tell you , only go into these deals if you are 100% sure you can follow the terms and conditions ,there is no room for mistakes. I have now had 36 such deals over the years and have never failed to get the cashback but you do need to be methodical.
THanks for that. Tbf, I think I'd be more likely to go for the £2.58 offer because of the fact that it has more than a gig of internet. I tend to stay within the 800MB range, which the other tariff doesn't allow for
I think I might get that offer around next month, when I'm back home - so that every thing stays registered there0 -
I'm planning on getting 2 contracts, 1 with a cheap phone but with the minutes/data I want and another with the Galaxy Ace without the minutes/data to be as cheap as possible and then to swap the sim cards. This should be cheaper than buying the phone outright, I just need to be patient for the deal....
PS I've been playing the game for 10 years, but generally with lower risk companies.
Hmm, I see what you're getting at but surely it would be locked on one network. If you were to get the £1.08 offer, and then get this

then the cost should surely be £111.12 over the 24 month course, and quidco/TCB no longer seem to have BMP as a retailer any more. Surely then you'd have to pay around £20 for the unlocking, and it would cost around that much just to buy it straight?0 -

Still on quidco/tcb - you must be searching for something different.0 -

Quidco/TCB still have BMP

Cheapest Galaxy Ace is currently £93.12 http://www.buymobilephones.net/mobile-phones/Samsung/Samsung-Galaxy-Ace-White-Free-Line-Rental-Discount/T-Mobile/T-Mobile-%EF%BF%BD15-%2824mths%29/13435884,0,1866657171
1-2 weeks ago BMP had good £0/month deals. If one of these comes back then total cost would be £63.12 or £33.12 (depending on how many Quidco cashbacks I would get). I would still need to check if the Ace was locked or not...
Cheapest price for new Ace is ~£130.0 -
You can get it cheaper.0 -

It was the cheapest on mobilephonechecker.co.uk.
What's the cheaper offer and how did you find it?
You can get a (so-called "refurbished" one on a cashback contract) for about £24 over 24 months from CPW, then get a free contract from bmp for the bundle - IF you know what you're doing!0 -
Refurb here £4.05/month for 18 months. 100 mins, unltd texts and 250mb data.
