I can access it now at my office. Maybe it was a problem with o2 routing. I'll check tonight and see.

It must be a routing problem as I still can't access it from home.

I still could not gain access this morning on my desktop via O2 broadband. Tried a local un-secured BT connection and no problem. Also hooked my TMobile mobile to my computer and no problem. Assume it must be a block or a routing problem on O2's part.

    It's working for me now.

So only waiting for some decent deals to come back - looking for reasonable amount of data 750MB+, 200+minutes for £0 after cashback which was there last week but not any more.

This doesn't seem to be too bad:

Have you guys actually got your cashback so far?

    I'm considering getting this:

    or this:

(well, similar deals to the above. My contract doesn't expire for another year)

I'm on Virgin Mobile atm, where I pay £15.75 for 800 minutes, 3000 texts and 1GB of internet, along with a HTC Wildfire which I sold for £117, and got a new phone for £30 on top, so around £17/month effectively

Would the provider allow me to change my number to theirs? Or would it mean that you have to get a new number? Also, how easy is it to haggle with buymobilephones after your contract is up?

Yes I was looking at a couple of those deals. The first would make around £4 profit after Quido/TopCashback which I might take if last weeks deals don't come back.

Looking as well to get the Galaxy Ace on the cheapest contract. The problem is that buymobilephones only give Quidco cashback to new customers so I can only get max ~£30. The other option is Affordable Mobiles if I want to take the risk/play the game...

I spoke with Three last week and they claimed that there is little to no technical/warranty support when you buy from BMP.net?

I've already had trouble with Three's warranty and technical. Were they just trying a salesman tactic? They even said they'd send me a special guarantee.

Y'know if you do decide to play the game, it might be cheaper to get a cheap phone, with the same amount of minutes, texts, data etc... and to buy a phone outright

I had a friend looking for a Samsung Galaxy SII on one of these contracts, and it worked out at around £25/month but if he got a cheap phone, sold it and bought it outright, it would have then worked out to be £13/month

I mean I want to use BMP but not too sure if they're that good. I mean, £2.58/month is an amazing deal if it actually works out to be that much.

If every thing goes to plan, then I could hopefully get the whole family on, for under £11/month, as well as knocking a fiver off our BB bills. After selling all the phones, then it'd work out at £6.36/month and that's without any of the quidco/topcashback cashack

Hi, if you already have a decent phone then going for the cheapest phone on a suitable tariff, like the one in the first link, means £1.08/month is possible then either keep the cheap phone as a back up or sell it and along with the quidco cashback means you have actually made money on the contract.

BMP usually limit you to 2 redemption deals at a time plus although quidco say cashback only available to new customers I have received 2 x £30 on three occasions.

As MJ will tell you , only go into these deals if you are 100% sure you can follow the terms and conditions ,there is no room for mistakes. I have now had 36 such deals over the years and have never failed to get the cashback but you do need to be methodical.

I'm planning on getting 2 contracts, 1 with a cheap phone but with the minutes/data I want and another with the Galaxy Ace without the minutes/data to be as cheap as possible and then to swap the sim cards. This should be cheaper than buying the phone outright, I just need to be patient for the deal....

PS I've been playing the game for 10 years, but generally with lower risk companies.
