Can recommend Collection 2000 minerals foundation - it's in a big pot (about 12g) and is about a fiver. Very limited colour range but amazing quality. I started buying it after seeing it recommended in the Beauty Bible Beauty Steals book (which I borrowed from the library).

I'm using Elemental Beauty at the moment and it suits me very well. I have a "custom mix"!!
  • I have never used foundation, but recently was introduced to Jane Iredale, mineral foundation and blusher. My skin is so sensitive and I find this is very good, of course I have nothing to compare it to, but thought I would throw another name into the mix.

I was using Dallas by Benefit, but found if burnt my skin, the Jane Iredale blusher I can wear everyday, and it has caused me no problems.

I cant wear mineral make up any longer (skin seems to react to powders) but would highly recommend Elemental Beauty and Lily Lolo. Both British companies, great customer service from EB.Good prices too.
  • Lily Lolo all the way for me!

  • I had never tried mineral foundation before until I was out shopping one day and got grabbed by someone selling mineral make-up. I was persuaded into buying Bellapierre which I absolutely love and would definitely recommend. I've looked online though and it seems to be very pricey, I only paid half price, I think she must have been desperate for her commission! :D

I'm also liking the look of Lily Lolo, it looks much cheaper and I like the idea of the samples, I like to try before buying thanks!
  • What does everybody think about mineral foundation? I've heard it can help clear up skin (I get the odd spot on my chin) and it's supposed to look a lot more natural than liquid foundation. Any recommnendations for brands? Should I go to make-up counters so they can match my skin to the right shade like I would do with liquid foundation?
