You can buy small samples from Lily Lolo to try.
Just ordered two samples of Lili Lolo foundation. How fabulous is it that you can buy samples! I wish all cosmetics companies did this.4.30: conduct pigeon orchestra...0 -

Goes on easily, stays put all day!

Depends whether you want pure minerals or just makeup which has minerals and other substances in them!
If you want pure then look at Cozmetic Labs, Jane Iredale or Krush. They're all 100% pure minerals and produce a lovely, flawless finish.0 -
I use http://www.elementalbeauty.co.uk/mineral-cosmetics/mineral-foundations-1.html which I really like0

Bare escentuals is the one I use. I got a starter pack from debenhams a few months ago.0

I use Bare Escentuals and love it, suits my skin, but i got it off ebay as it is quite expensive but lasts ages, some don't like it because it contains bismuth which can irritate some skins but its never been a problem for me.
Low spend thread has a site Elemental Beauty where you can try samples for postage and loads to choose from.0 -
Lilylolo for me. What i particularly liked when I first swapped was the fact that you can get trial sizes for 99p(couple of days worth) so you can make absolutely sure on colour/sensitivity etc. They are prompt with delivery too0

I have sensitive skin which is spot prone & I work in a hot environment so need something with staying power.
Has anyone tried the bare minerals from bare escentuals??:money: Martin Lewis Rocks!:money:0 -
http://www.eyeslipsface.co.uk/product~prodID~82.htm - elf - i use it and love it - only £3.500

I have tried quite a few and I think you need to see what suits you best.
Personally I go back to Bare Essentials every time (usually after trying to save ££) but it lasts for ever and suits my skin. My sister, will not switch from her Sheer Cover, and thinks BE is rubbish, I also have a mate who swears the Avon mineral powder is better than BE (I dont know what is in it though!) but it made my eyes itch.
All I can say is give the minerals at least 2 weeks, it took me at least this to get used to and work out how much / little I should be using and to get the hang of putting it on properly! In fact my first lot sat in a drawer for ages cause I couldn't get it to work for me!!!
Now I couldn't go back to liquid!!
