Lily Lolo for me too! They do a fantastic range of cool, neutral and warm tones and go very pale- finally a foundation that's perfect for cool, pale skin.
I've tried i-D bare minerals but it didn't last as long as Lily Lolo which I can put on at 7am, touch up once and looks okay until 9pm.

  • Well I got the Bare minerals kit today, on offer in Debenhams for £40 but had a £20 Debs voucher so only cost me £20!!

I have tried it and LOVE it so far.....will keep you all posted!

  • Hi

Just wondering if anyone uses mineral foundation and if yes, what do you recommend?

    Thanks
  • Hi,
I love everyday minerals - it's an american site which ships to the UK. Can't post link sorry - but they will send sample points of foundation so you can get the right colour.
It lasts for ages and is really good quality - and each time you reorder they have a range of offers of free pots of eye shadow etc.
    Cheers

  • I use Bare Escentuals, I have tried lots of others but this one relly suits my skin and gives good coverage.
  • Hi..
This is my first post so I hope I'm doing it right..lol
I tried a few different brands, some were ok and some were awful. Then I discovered Lily Lolo. It's definitely been the best one for me (I have combination skin) and it lasts for aaaages! I second the Everyday Minerals too... not as good as Lily Lolo imo but they ARE good, I just couldn;t find a colout match for me at the time

  • Have just started using Lily Lolo this week - got a couple of sample sizes as I didn't have a clue which colour I would be. They have a wide range to pick from, and the samples were less than £1 each.

Really like using it. Easy to apply, and seems to suit my skin which can be on the dry side.
  • if you have a house of fraser or john lewis nearby they might have a Bare escentuals stand and they can give you a 'make under' that way you get to feel what it's like. personally i tried it but didn't like the dry taught feeling of the mineral foundation. i think it may be good for those with really oily skin or if you moisturise really well.i like the eyeshadow colour selection though!

Lily lolo. I've tried i-d bare minerals and avon but lily lolo is the best by miles, best colours, lasts all day, doesn't cake and is very reasonably priced. Lily lolo only make excellent all natural mineral make up and it doesn't contain talc or chalk, which is a cheap filler that dries the skin, like a lot of mineral foundations do.
I don't even need a finishing/fixing powder with lily lolo! I've been using it for a few years and swear by it, I'll never use another foundation!
