I've got Bare Escentuals, Everyday Minerals and Christopher Drummond on the go at the moment and to be honest I use all of them! I've also used Lily Lolo in the past and liked what I tried.
There is an element of trial and error in mineral make up, but the colours are forgiving most of the brands do trial offers and some of the trial sizes they send will last for ages! A lot of mineral foundations are too yellow for me so I use them as an "undercoat" to cut the redness on my cheeks and then apply a foundation that is the right shade over the top. It works really well.
Definitely get a couple of good brushes though. Different people have their different favourites, but my favourite brushes are Bare Escentuals and Everyday MineralsNot everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted. Einstein0 -

Can I just say how impressed I am with Elemental Beauty latests packaging?
I just ordered a new foundation and colour corrector , the last time I ordered was last September, and they both arrived today in lovely new plastic sifter pots, placed in a wee pink organza bag which will be used as a gift bag.
Im still loving BE faux tan and mineral veil ( esp now it has a SPF of 25 which stopped me burning when cruising in my convertible the one gloriously hot day we had this year) but I keep going back to EB's foundation and colour correcter - best stuff ever for my skin0 -
Hi
Sorry to bother you I've been looking at various foundations and I'm now liking the sound of the body shop mineral foundation - has anyone used it?
I currently use the body shop all in one face base but fancy a change.
Thanks0 -
yes, I have used it and like it as I don't like heavy foundation but this gives me enough coverage without looking like I am wearing makeup. I find the bare minerals one looks very obvious but the body shop one is more subtle. If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0

I've just bought some as well and rather like it. Don't know if I like it enough to stop using Lily Lolo but it's defo better than BM0

I'm another Lily Lolo fan, have been using it for a couple of years now. I find one of their foundations lasts more than six months so it has definitely helped me cut down my make up spending. I would recommend getting a couple of samples before you buy a big pot though. They're cheap and handy for refilling to take in your makeup bag for the gym etc0
