Morning all
Mrs T - So sorry for your loss
Ellie - If you're still looking for a book for your DH my DH is getting on best with the haynes baby manual. He's read 2 others but said the haynes was the best.
Also - did you get an answer to your kiddicare question, we're up that way of the woods for my 4d scan at Easter an was wondering if it was worth the extra hours drive to check it out?
As for me, trying to feel more positive today. Managed to cash in a load of vouchers yesterday so picked up loads of nappies, wipes, boots changing bag, huggys basket etc. I think little and often is going to work best for me.
So as the weather is so lovely I think I might take my decaf into the garden with the baby name book
Hope you all have a fab dayYou laugh because I'm different - I laugh because you're all the same0 -

SKINTCHICK: I've had thrush and bled from my 'wall' too, it did scare me though, hope your feeling ok now.
So sad about JG, poor cow, makes you really appreciate what you have doesn't it?
Well I am feeling ok, bloody tired, havent slept properly for a few days.
OH bought me a mothersday card from DS and wrote in it ''remember you are a yummy mummy'' which I thought was really sweet of him, it's probably because I cried yesterday about how minging I am, he also bought me a book too.
OMG I have just 4 weeks until I am due! Come next monday I am going to start my 'getting baby out regime'well 37 weeks is term and I am so not wanting to go over and have to be 'induced' so i'm going to try anything to not get to that stage cos if i get too far over and they break my waters or give me the drip and it doesnt work I'll be a C-section straight away

Morning all.
Woke up to the news about Jade too. I'm 27 and have everything to look forward to, so I feel very lucky and blessed.
Spent a wonderful evening last night sorting out beanies clothes into drawers. She has pretty much everything from newborn to 12 months already and even some bits for when she's 2! Most of it is courtesy of my mum and aunt who have been on mad spending sprees so I havent had to buy any clothing.
All I really have left to get are scratch mits (or little socks as someone suggested), vaseline and her cot. I am usually the most disorganised person but its been so much fun making sure I have everything for beanie. My hospital bag is almost packed too even though i'm only 27 wks. I'll probably unpack and repack it a million times though.
I thought all the buying would be a bit of a strain on the finances, but have found that because we have bought stuff every month since I found out I was pregnant we havent even felt it or noticed it.
Hope everyone has a lovely mother's day and are pampered and spoilt as you all should be xxProud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j0 -
Morning all..
I'm starting the day with a pre-breakfast of cloudy lemonade and an iced ring doughnut! On my own this morning as OH is at work - he's supposed to start at 0720 but I woke up at 0735 and could hear him breathing next to me.. thought I was imagining it (cos he's not usually there when I wake up). Shoved him out of bed, was met with a collection of !!!! words then an "I love you btw!" as he slammed the front door.. Awww..
I was wheezing a lot when I went to bed last nightI've never had any breathing problems before but I just couldn't seem to catch my breath last night. Just spoken to OH on the phone and he said he could hear me wheezing as I spoke although I wasn't aware of it..
Tink, no I didn't get any answers about Kiddicare... Anyone?! Thankyou too for mentioning the Haynes book - another one Mum bought for us last time which I think is in the box I can't reach. Need to get those boxes down anyway cos I've got last night's purchases to add so will look later on
Got to do the visiting rounds of all the mums, grandmas, nans and grannies later - at least mine are easy cos they'll all be in one place (gathering at my parents). Can you a believe Tesco Extra were all out of chocolates by 6pm last night! Think I'm going to have to get baking instead. Afternoon tea platters all round perhaps?
Hope everyone has a great day!xx
