I went to Rigby and Peller (the underwear gods, and where I usually buy bras for my bazookas) when I discovered I was pregnant again and wasn't fitting into my bras, and they advised that so long as the bra was properly fitted, underwires were fine all the way through, even if you were planning on breastfeeding.

The key apparently is that the wire must be flat against the stomach, under the breast, going round at the very outer edge of the breast under your arm. I'm probably not explaining this very well, and I suspect you do need a proper fitting, but I went up from a 32E to a 34G already so need a lot of support, and the underwired ones they've fitted me with are very comfy so far.

Hi Ladies,

Is it ok to join you please?

I started on the TTC thread at the beginning of the year and things have moved very quickly but I wanted to wait until my first scan, which was Friday, before posting here.

I'm 13 weeks on Monday and my due date is 28th September.

I didn't quite believe I was pregnant until the little one popped up on the screen Friday. My husband said it was the best moment of his life seeing the babe!

Happy Mother's Day for tomorrow everyone especially those who have recently given birth.
